If FM is still the hitting coach for the Sox after the break it will be a giant F you to every Sox fan. The approach at the plate today is beyond infuriating.

Lynn has bad knees from carrying all that extra weight around for all these years. The first thing a DR tells you is to lose weight to lessen the load on your joints. He is a friggen professional athlete who you think would take care of his body and pay way more attention to his conditioning and fitness than the average friggen joe. Pitchers get their power from their lower half. When your legs are bad your velocity goes down and you mess up your mechanics. Like my grandpa used to tell me, fat and lazy is no way to go through life.

The pen did a really nice job today. Lynn just absolutely crapped the bed along with the bottom 5 in the order.

How is Seattle better than the Sox? They are going for their 13th in a row and 21 of their last 24.

If this team doesn't get anything from Moncada, Pollock, Jimenez, and Lynn in the second half they aren't going anywhere. There won't be a tease.

After winning the first two splitting this series is not acceptable. Tomorrows game will be a 2 game swing in the standings depending on the outcome. Cease has to go 7 and shut them down.

Why hasn't this team been able to produce or sign competent outfielders? It looks like the team is content with winning the first two.

A lot of Kopech's issues are between the ears. Cease was the same way and still is sometimes. They just need experience and to learn how to pitch. It would help Kopech a lot to develop that change up.

Kopech just doesn't look good. I don't know if it's physical or mechanical but he hasn't been the same since the knee issue. This whole team minus Pito are a total mess physically. You almost expect an injury every game.

Garcia and Pollock are killing this team with their total lack of production on offense. You don't have a lot of choice with Pollock but with Garcia you have to start limiting his AB's. He is playing way too much for as awful as he is at the plate.

Neither of these starters are lasting long tonight.

I would definitely not bring him back before the break unless it was strictly as the DH or in a pinch hitting role. And going forward how can you put him back in the OF? He is a huge liability out there not only to himself but to others like Robert.

Without question Eloy is not in the best possible shape he could be in. Someone needs to sit him down and tell him in no uncertain terms that if he can't stay on the field he is going to be out of the league. Maybe they already have. Whatever the case he really needs to become serious about his conditioning. I still think he could be a special hitter. When he makes any kind of contact the ball jumps off his bat.

I absolutely love Seby telling Celestino to STFU. The Sox need more players with that dog in them. Hopefully the Twins throw at Seby tomorrow and they wake up the sleeping giant.

Oh boy. Zavala going to be sent down. The unwritten rules of TLR.

Zavala has earned the majority of starts behind the plate right now. His defense has actually improved the more time he has gotten. Grandal is like Jimenez in that neither can run and are not good defensively. They both have to be hitting to have any value. You can't keep all these unathletic DH types on the team. Going to be interesting as to what moves they make before the deadline.
