I doubt it. He's has a couple good appearances recently but overall has not been good in high leverage situations. I dont see much value there.

They will not get even one from BAL. Trying to finalize a trade with BAL is like trying to hammer jello to a wall. I could see them doing something for Beavers and Bradfield plus some other pieces...and I think Getz might feel they fit his vision better, but BAL isn't gonna give up any Top 4.

Interesting they also list him at RF. I know the arm is there but what about the footspeed?

It just seems very unlikely that someone would be able to chase that much but somehow not strikeout a ton, esp against MLB caliber pitching. And then if he dials back tye aggressiveness, how much power are you losing? And if he's at 1B what other value is there? Theres no one that wants a big time savage more than me, but this is high risk high reward. If he hits 40 bombs a year then I don't care if he hits .220 and is a 1B, but if not... Wetherholt is the better all around choice IMO. If BAL would stop being a holes and be prepared to actually make a deal, we could get the savage in Kjerstad in a Robert or Crochet trade.

I get the sense that Getz actually doesn't even want guys like Basallo, Mayo or Kjerstad from BAL even though we would. I think he would want to get something like Bradfield and/or Beavers because it better fits his vision even if there's very little power in the lineup and he's just scared to death of anyone that could end up at 1B or DH or LF no matter how good the bat is. Not that it matters anyway because trying to trade with BAL is like trying to hammer a piece of jello to the wall.

There were some rumors earlier of Fedde to MIL for Pratt and Letson. Jimmy had said Sox liked Letson and Pratt just snuck into the Top 100 and is an up the middle player that is young and with upside. I'd really like a savage bat tho but that just seems unlikely with Getz small ball and speed philosophy.
