So Abreu is on pace to another 25+ HR and 90 RBI season. No one else on this glorified core will come even close to that.

As someone pointed out yesterday, be thrilled with our current record based on run differential. We should easily be 10 games under .500 right now. We can nitpick the Indians meltdown, the Turner fiasco, Giollito's turtle act, LaRussa's lineups..... we are lucky to be where we are at right now.

While the starting pitchers have been more dominant over the last two seasons, efficiency is a huge concern to me. We can't get a starter to go 6-7 innings.

I don't see Grandal, Moncada, and Eloy being relevant contributors the rest of the way. So yes, it's time to panic.

It's a team underperforming at 3 games under .500. This team was suppose to be 10+ games over by now. LaRussa is not that 13-15 game swing. Assuming we are still shooting for the same end goal of contending for a World Series. My point is firing LaRussa (which they should anyway) is like putting a bandaid on the Titanic.
