  1. Just love how many pitches Yaz sees. So great for Abreu
  2. Professional at bat right there. Haven't seen enough of those from Nomar yet. Hopefully he's seeing the ball better. One time now TA7
  3. Poor Danny Duffy. Lefty about to get LIT up. Lefty starters this season against this lineup:
  4. Nope. And now Lynn's price just added another top 10 org prospect. Lynn is literally the only elite pitcher "on" the market now.
  5. this is great news to get Eloy out of the field in the 8th and 9th innings. LOVE that they are making playoff roster moves. Pitcher HAS to be in the works to commit to this.
  6. Here is your best options to go ALL out this season and for the future. Both are EXPENSIVE. Option 1 is MUCH more likely - Mets Probably won't make a trade. Option 1: 2020 - Giolito Lynn D.K. Cease Gonzalez/Lopez - Dunning & Stiever BOTH are gone to to get Lynn (they dont want Madrigal, they have to pay Odor ridiculous contract) 2021 - Giolito Lynn D.K. Kopech Cease - Lynn is FA after 2022 - Giolito Kopech D.K. Cease Crochet/Thompson 2023- Giolito Kopech D.K. Cease Crochet/Kelley Option 2: 2020 - DeGrom Giolito D.K. Cease Gonzalez/Lopez - Kopech and Stiever are gone to get DeGrom + Collins and Adolpho 2021- DeGrom Giolito D.K. Cease Dunning 2022 - DegGrom Giolito D.K. Cease Dunning/Crochet. - Extremely Expensive Salaries 2023 - DeGrom Giolito DK Cease Dunning/Crochet/Kelley. Extremely Expensive Salaries, probably would have to trade one Here is stand pat. This solution is MUCH cheaper but relies on signing either Bauer, Stroman or a lesser talent Option 3: 2020 Giolito D.K. Cease Gonzalez Dunning/Lopez 2021 Giolito Bauer D.K. Cease Kopech/Dunning 2022 Giolito Kopech D.K. Dunning Stiever/Crochet (Maybe Bauer signs) 2023 Giolito Kopech D.K. Crochet/Dunning Kelly/Steiver Which option is likely? Which option wins the most?
  7. 12 years of control for a potential TOR starter and perennial gold glove 2nd baseman for 34 starts of a 34 year old is not a good value. Give them Dunning, Collins and Stiever and maybe you can stomach that. And Thompson and Dahlquist are too unproven to know at this point.
  8. I'm all for trading for Lynn...but to give up Kopech and Madrigal you better be getting DeGrom
  9. Can we find out the 25% that would love it so I immediately add them to my ignore list?
  10. Based on all the posts on this thread, it seems to me that the this group is typically okay with trading the following in some form: Cease, Dunning, Adolfo & Collins. If you offered that group right now would that net DeGrom? You still keep Kopech and Steiver for 2021 and beyond and Vaughn and Madrigal still are core elements (Meaning every position is either signed long term or home grown cheap). Losing Cease would really sting, but you are upgrading to the best pitcher in baseball currently, and you lose a #3-4 starter with 6 years of control, a catcher that nobody believes in and a RF that quite honestly is a lottery ticket at this point.
  11. please keep politics out of this as asked on original post. This is the teams decision to make, not ours.
  12. And trading DeGrom for a PTBNL as the headliner amongst other parts would set NYC into full blown meltdown mode. Not good optics for their FO if that was the case.
  13. A good friend of mine is an avid Baseball card collector/seller. He said that the Market for La Pantera is immense. People in the biz are buying him up expecting him to be the next Trout as far as value rise.
  14. that is WILD. and some smart GM is going to totally game a dumb GM.
  15. High. He still profiles as a TOR talent and has 5 years of control (6 with extra manipulation, which will be easy with a trade). He would be required in a deal for DeGrom.
  16. Researching more into this great idea, Gardner is awful this year. Yanks are not moving Tauchman
  17. There is a chance the draft pick requirement will be eliminated this offseason due to covid related concerns on value of players. At least that is the rumor that circulated for a while that QO structure could change. This offseason is gonna be really weird.
  18. All of this happened after Keuchel called them out. In hindsight that was probably the turning point of this rebuild. KEEP IT UP IN KC!
  19. Was just going to post this. I really like how Giolito sped up last night also. Watching Darvish pitch last weekend made me itchy.
