QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Nov 10, 2008 -> 04:38 PM) Do you think Obama will abolish the ridiculous Axis of Evil? I hope so. Nothing more pointless than trying diplomacy with a nation you officially refer to as evil.

Strong rumors say that Christian will return to WWE after all. He had originally decided to stay with TNA, but apparently had second thoughts due to the difference in pay. It'll be good to see him back with The E, and TNA will miss his charisma and mic skills badly. -

Kane's vision on the ice is just SO good. He's been making just awesome passes through traffic. Plus, the little added weight over the summer has made him stronger along the boards. -
QUOTE (rangercal @ Nov 8, 2008 -> 08:08 PM) scroll to the bottom Breaking News....Starting in early January, you'll be able to watch me and my old partner, Dan Jiggetts, on the Monsters of the Morning show on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, weekday mornings from 7:00 to 10:00 Eastern. So he's not gone yet, unfortunately. No, he's not gone but thankfully that show is easily avoided. And avoid it I will.

QUOTE (BearSox @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 11:32 AM) If a gay is ever elected as president of the united states, I'm moving. So you're okay with a Don't Ask, Don't Tell presidential policy? Your post reminds me of when Harold Washington ran for mayor of Chicago. My brother made this big stink about how if that [epithet] got elected, he was moving out of Chicago the next day. The day after Washington was elected, my sisters and I placed a copy of the paper and an open suitcase on his bed while he was at work. He didn't move, and I doubt you would either.

The wind you may have just felt was my sigh of relief: Source: PWInsider.com -- Mike Adamle is done with WWE, at least for the short term. There is a good chance he won't be returning. The word backstage is that both WWE and Adamle came to an agreement that he was just not cut out for the business, so he was taken off television. Many found it fitting that on what was probably his final night with the company, he screwed up his lines in true Adamle fashion. -
QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Nov 6, 2008 -> 03:52 PM) link? DeLuca wrote that in the Sun-Times today.

QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Nov 6, 2008 -> 10:03 AM) It's more complicated than that, but if you really believe that she couldn't name the newspaper she reads then so be it. She was asked several times to name one specific publication she reads and she refused to name one. I don't believe she couldn't name one, I think she was afraid to "set herself up" for some sort of scrutiny by naming one, but it made her look really stupid and/or paranoid.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Nov 5, 2008 -> 11:21 AM) i agree with you guys on the energy stuff, and breaking the addiction on foreign oil...but that type of stuff is dependent on technology, so to put a time frame on it isnt reasonable IMO....i understand he can help to redistribute more funding in those areas, but those are things that will certainly take a much longer time than obama's term (and probably longer than 10 years) to be implemented, even if all the new technologies necessary are developed right now REDISTRIBUTION OF FUNDING IS SOCIALISM!!!!! Add me to the list of people who want to see alternative energy sources as a priority. It's been way too long in coming as it is, I'd love to see some progress on that front really soon.

To be fair, Greg, everyone knew about at least one Obama policy. McCain took Obama's potentially scariest policy to most people (tax policy) and hammered it into people's heads and ultimately people wanted Obama anyway. Congratulations to President Obama, but like others have said, now the hard part begins.

Relieved that the end of this lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng campaign is upon us. Curious to find out who wins. Hopeful that whoever wins actually improves the country's situation somehow. Happy that my voting process only took 15 minutes. Grateful that I'm going to be nowhere near Downtown tonight.

Wow, does Mike Adamle ever S.U.C.K. I hope his GM resignation means he's gone from The E for good, but I doubt that. -

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Nov 3, 2008 -> 09:29 AM) I'd take Avery on the Hawks, the guy can play hockey when he's not being a tool. And when is that?? -
QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 3, 2008 -> 01:48 PM) You know what, I think it'd be pretty cool to get an autographed picture from someone who will be in the HoF one day. That'll last someone a lifetime. I'd have liked to get an autographed Thome picture while trick-or-treating, but I can see how people would see it as an arrogant move. Now, if he'd have signed baseballs and wrapped them to look like popcorn balls, now that's another story!

Ric Flair confirmed he's going to be filming a reality show with his son Reid. The show is about "two bachelors (Ric and Reid) living together". Ugh. -
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 1, 2008 -> 11:48 PM) Just got back. I enjoyed it, but also felt a little tricked. Instead of making totally raunchy comedy, he just disguised a chick flick with porno in the title. Lots of funny lines and scenes, but at it's core, it's a chick flick/date movie. It's like a raunchy Chasing Amy. Oh, and I hate Justin Long, but he steals the movie when on camera. I heard on the radio that Long was great as well. The movie pulled in a little over 10 mil this weekend, making it the #2 movie in America behind High School Musical 3. It was the #1 movie among people with pubic hair, though....

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 1, 2008 -> 01:13 PM) I'm going to see it tonight. Post your opinion, please? Like I said, I'm a fan of Smith, but I am NOT a fan of Seth Rogen. Roger Ebert liked the movie, but he liked Boogie Nights too, so maybe he's just a fan of any movie about porn.
