  1. Milo may or may not be accurate in his version of what happened ( since Harry's not around to give his side, we can never really know ), but he really needs to just let it go. Walking around with that kind of bile festering inside you can't be good.
  2. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 10:36 AM) :rolly :rolly :rolly You know as well as I do, Anderson will stand on his head, Khabulin will somehow steal some games, and the Hawks will win JUST enough games to get them that 4th or 5th spot, getting them some pussy Russian winger........ They might draft that pussy Russian winger even if they got the #1 overall. But only if he has an injury history, they seem to like that too.

    MJ cut off...

    How old is Prince Abdullah? Maybe Mike tried to get him to sleep over....or maybe they got offended when he called it "Jesus Juice"....
  4. Shouldn't that read: "MP3 Inventor BECOMES Tool, Fights Piracy" ?
  5. Seems kinda hypocritical to get all up their asses one week after probably the biggest gambling day of the year. Last week, gambling = OK, look at the cute office pools and point spreads. This week, gambling = MAFIA, ILLEGAL, DEATH TO ALL WHO GAMBLE..... I find it odd.
  6. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 10:11 AM) And it will only get worse as the Barn empties... I'm not crying about it. That franchise did this to itself. I've been to one game this year (free tickets from someone at work, "free" parking with my wife's parking pass nearby) and only spent money for two beers. That's the only way I'll see a Hawks game until I see them making a REAL effort to improve.

    QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 07:45 AM) California Sun as done by The Ramones. Use the version from the "It's Alive" disc. I love the feedback in that version.

    Grammy thread..

    I never watch the Grammys and this year was no exception. I tend to avoid awards shows, they bore me.
  9. Oh, and THIS is interesting, too: "Fans inside the bleachers, walking through the area on their way to concessions, will be able to view the action through a chain-link fence, much like the Bullpen Sports Bar at U.S. Cellular Field." WHY would The Baseball Mecca Of The World want to do ANYTHING even slightly resembling that CESSPOOL on 35th Street?????
  10. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 08:19 AM) That's just face... from a scalper they can go up as high as $200!!! A Sox/Cubs game near $1000!!! I know. Ridiculous.
  11. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 07:50 AM) $60 dollar bleacher seats to see the "Lovable Losers"? I didn't think anything could shock me about that place anymore, but when I saw that figure I was genuinely stunned. SIXTY dollars to sit in the bleachers......damn.....
  12. QUOTE(TheBlackSox8 @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 07:02 PM) I like the Kerry Wood one.. So do I, but I thought a "bobble-arm" doll would be even funnier.
  13. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 06:19 PM) BLECHHH! Miller is awful. I like Bud. Mmmmmm... Bud. In Bizarro World, I would agree with you.

    Seems like every weekend in summer you read about some imbecile going 100 down Lake Shore Drive, wiping out and dying. I've never ridden one, but I have some friends who LOVE them.
  16. So the SLaP board becomes the SLaM board, huh? I like SLaM better than SLaP anyway!
  17. QUOTE(BlackBetsy @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 07:45 AM) Living outside Chicago as I do and only going to the Cell for perhaps 1 trip per year, I can tell you that only seeing it over a long period of time, it's become a MUCH better park from what it was in the early 90's. It's remarkable, actually. I think the green seats only help that. (I think I've been to 20 or so of the MLB parks thus far and can say that the food at the Cell is the best, without question. Nothing is really even close). This is the reason I have NO problem calling it US Cellular Field. I don't know if JR would have done any renovations without the naming money. Maybe he would have, but probably not to the extent that the US Cellular money allowed. USCF is an absolutely beautiful ballpark, and a GREAT place to see a game. The park is great, the food is great, and the team is a World Champion.
  18. I'm happy about this. I can't drink Budweiser, that stuff just tastes nasty to me. Since my seats are in the UD this year, and I don't know if there's a Beers Of The World stand up there, I may have to go domestic. Miller is a better domestic to me.
  19. They must have started selling his CDs at Denny's. Or maybe aired more commercials during Matlock. Or tucked the discs inside packages of Oops I Crapped My Pants.
  20. Hey, LAY OFF!!!! The kid was teaching her how to drive, OKAAAYYYYYYY?????
  21. I find this entire discussion and the repeated use of racial slangery to be HIGHLY offensive, so I'm SHUTTING IT DOWN!!! ...oh wait, I'm not a mod.....carry on.....sorry......
  22. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 11:17 AM) I can think of times when thinner would be better. Every time I step on a scale, for one....
  23. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 02:02 AM) See this part of the edit: I consider demeaning Spanish speaking people by phonetically spelling their attempts to speak English as offensive. You aren't the only that has been guilty of this so don't take it personally. I will take this course of action on any and all occasions that this occurs.
  24. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 07:36 PM) The Ketchup Song - Las Ketchup. 8 and 1/2 hours....longer than I thought it would take...
  25. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 07:49 PM) But the kid wants him fired. Good to know we also teach "forgivness". The teacher deserves an ass kicking, but the kid could also come out looking much better than saying the teacher should be fired. Vindictive little ni... ...nitwit...nincompoop...ninny...
