What the Cubs do doesn't bother me at all. I just ignore the Cub dolts, and I can have good baseball conversations with my intelligent Cub fan friends. Speaking of intelligent Cub fans, did you hear about the sign the Cub fans brought to last night's game rooting for the Sox to win "so they could get a rematch"? I thought that was pretty cool. Also, the Reds and Pirates historically give the Cubs a hard time, so nothing is certain.

Also FIVE first-inning runs WITHOUT a home run!! Taking walks, singles, doubles.....dare I say....SMALLBALL???? And Colon was DOUBLE TOUGH tonight! The way he dialed it up in the 7th was FANTASTIC. Blowing 101mph heat past the Twinks was FUN to watch!! Time for Mark to run with it tonight!!! GO SOX!!!!

and for the record, HSC, I agree almost 100% with your post. I think the policy change was an over-reaction to the morons running on the field. But I also think it's kinda stupid to stay away from a game just because this guy refuses to pay a little more to sit downstairs. He has a choice and he knows the situation. Make the choice, don't b**** and whine about it.

I may tape it just to see Loaiza get #20. It's been a while since I've seen a Sox pitcher win #20 in a season. To get #20 over the Twinks would be SWEET. To have it be the final game of a Sox sweep............priceless.

I voted maybe because there seems to be a number of people out there who this matters very deeply to. I doubt that it's a very large number of people. Personally, I couldn't care less if I'm allowed downstairs when i buy walkup UD seats. If I'm in the lower deck, I walk the concourse. If I'm in the upper deck, I tend to stay in my seat more of the time. That's how it works for me - of course, that's just my personal experience.

Nobody here works for the White Sox. You're pissing in the wind. You asked our opinions, then got mad when they didn't match yours. And if I recall, YOU were the one throwing attitude first because nobody was voting for a sweeping policy change to bend to your potential sporadic attendance. I don't care WHERE you throw your hypothetical $3240.00. Because I don't work for the White Sox. When I go to games I walk up, and I don't give a s*** where I sit. I have purchased upper deck tickets when the lower deck was sold out, or when the only lower seats left cost more than I wanted to pay. I don't go to the ballpark to see a concourse, I go to see a baseball game. Make a decision and stop crying. No one cares....except maybe Bateman.

I think he will hit eventually. He doesn't look completely lost up there, and time and experience will help him. I'd guess around .250 with a little pop, but not much. With what he gives behind the plate, that's plenty.

Oh my God, man, quit cryin'! It's not even that nice down there, the UD concourse is JUST as good!!! Just go on a half-price Monday or Tuesday, or plan it out a little in advance. Give blood, sell some recyclables, put some pennies away and buy a lower deck ticket! Since I don't prefer to sit in the UD, it really doesn't. I am not going to stay home because the Upper Deck people can't walk the concourse! That said, I can sympathize and understand your frustration. It just doesn't affect me since I don't sit up there. Then vote MAYBE! How am I going to get the policy changed if the NO votes > YES votes. And to you season ticket holders ... a BIG WIDE :fyou.
