I'm confused by this. Pitchers have always tried to live on the edges, it's not like they all of a sudden learned the edges are best. Maybe there's more strikes hurting the hitting environment which would be bad, but I don't think pitchers change the way they pitch because of it. The real reason people don't like it is because it eliminates something we can blame and b**** about. We say we want them to get it right, but deep down we all love a good ump controversy.

The Dodgers aren't heavy buyers? They've traded for Trea Turner and Max Scherzer in the same deal at a deadline in 2021. They acquired Flaherty, Kopech and Edman the one year. The Dodgers dont belong on your list I dont think. Yankees have also made big moves. Jazz, Rizzo and Gallo, Montas. Yankees also dont belong there in my opinion.
