Sox Sign Cishek; 1 yr, $5.25 mil + option (6.75, 750k buyout)
I believe payroll is now above average, which feels right where it should be for year one of contention.

Bullpen and Rotation aren't exactly strengths but there isn't anyone that I want to launch into the Sun before the season even starts for the first time in what feels like forever.

They're going to have 8 relievers

He's 6'6?? I've watched this dude pitch like 30 times and I was positive he was a normal sized dude.

This has gotta be it right? It's nice to have everything tied up in a bow a week into January vs nail biting into March.

Someone needs to explain to me why he's so much cheaper than Stammen and Harris though. Especially Stammen, because I am not seeing it.

Steve Stone: more bullpen help is coming
Cishek it is. Works for me. Can't believe he got a one year deal when Will Harris and Craig Stammen are out here getting multiple years

MLB announces Astros penalties
The Boston stuff, while bad, seems to be on a much smaller scale.

Steve Stone stays in White Sox booth
I often find myself feeling bad for Farmio, but good lord is he unlistenable

Pitching is the key to the Sox' chances in 2020. The lineup is stacked.
Idk, I imagine dealing with someone you can't stand during BP or whatever puts a damper on your day, and when your expected to perform at almost inhuman levels, that could be a problem.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
He's like all-time bad at 3B

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
White Sox tried to sign Machado and immediately turtled upon missing so I'm not sure trying to sign Rendon is a sure sign.

Offseason 2019-2020 MLB Catch All Thread
Legit question for rural Americans – How do I kill the 30-50 feral hogs that run into my yard within 3-5 mins while my small kids play?

Steve Stone: more bullpen help is coming
What the hell is with these old as shit relievers getting 3 year deals?

Cuban Phenom defecting Oscar Colas
Those numbers were indeed across 66 games in the Western League(minor). He only played 7 games in the Pacific League. He's also apparently never actually pitched over there.

Well, yeah, but there hasn't been a particular good one since Robert.

Can the 20s be the best decade in Sox history?
I was talking about Wil Myers..

Does anyone have any reference to how he compares to Moncada and Robert?

Would you extend Nick Madrigal? For how much?
1.7 is pretty damn good for someone who hasn't played a game yet
-
Would you extend Nick Madrigal? For how much?
If they deem him ready I wouldn't be too concerned about service time.

Would you extend Nick Madrigal? For how much?
Nah, I'm too concerned with how is funky batting profile will work at the big league level. Madrigal is unlikely to be a guy that will be impossible to keep around.
