  1. What else is there to kill time with when sitting at work on New Year's Eve. Predicting is fun
  2. I wouldn't think it's particularly likely he raises hes BB% back to that level, because I don't think it'd be a good idea. And that be a pretty huge spike in ISO. What you're saying isn't unreasonable, but I don't think I'd bet on it.
  3. Yeah, I just think people need to realize a .338 projection for BABIP is huuuuuuuge. Judge is looking at .319 right now for example.
  4. What I'm saying is he only has one year where he's carried a BABIP significantly higher than the one they're projecting. 231 of those ABs are at .325. 650 of them are at .344. Right now, last year is a major outlier. So just as a median projection, ~.340ish makes sense assuming Brooks isn't looking at exit velo when making their projections.
  5. I think it’s premature to say Moncada always has high BABIPs
  6. It’s so obviously a bald faced lie
  7. As far as projections go, I think they're right in line. I definitely don't expect him to hit 300 again, but I would think he does better than a .330 BABIP.
  8. Idk, yeah that Robert line would be asking a lot. But I don't think the Madrigal one is far off from what we should want to see.
  9. I've jumped the shark
  10. If they are near that cap, signing Machado would have been incredibly stupid so I wouldn't think they are.
  11. Sky's the limit by I think 82-85 is a reasonable expectation.
  12. It's a vesting option that becomes a team option if it doesn't vest.
  13. If he gets so bad to the point you can't have that option vest, it won't. Really don't think it's a big deal.
  14. That sounds like it's not a vesting option?
  15. I'm guessing the League Office just has yet to process the paperwork.
  16. I wonder if EE will even be in the lineup opening day, assuming Gio is pitching and whether or not McCann will catch him.
  17. If you get breakouts from a few pitchers this very well could be a 100 win team. Probably not. But they COULD be that good
  18. Because the front office is ready to raise their floor. 2020 is a go year.
  19. Encarnacion is 37, I would bet on Collins getting a good look at some point.
  20. There does seem to be a Team That Was Promised feeling among fans.
  21. At present that is not true. Maybe a couple weeks into the season it'll be true that he's only still there for service time. But right now there are actually 5 more arms I trust more than him. If they were throwing Ross Detwiler I would agree.
  22. I reckon Herrera will bounce back.
  23. While that's true, that doesn't necessarily mean he should be entitled a spot. As far as a grievance goes, he has nothing to stand on until he's shredding AAA and Gonzalez is awful or something.
  24. It's not clearly obvious that Kopech is one of the 5 best starters in the org at least.
