  1. Astros will be looking for a new manager, and probably FO.
  2. My MANS is VINDICATED. Clevinger tagged Bregman on Twitter too but, those comments got pretty personal.
  3. I think this is actually going to be a lot bigger than some people are making it out to be after this investigation is done. This ruins the integrity of the game.
  4. ??? Those SIX hitters had a cool NINE SEVENTY FOUR combined OPS at home. On the road it was worse than 6 Adam Engels at .526. Holy shit
  5. Probably a little North of 5/100 since there are a lot of teams in on him.
  6. There is nothing wrong with "stealing" signs from 2B or picking up something from the 3B coach. Having a CF camera focused on the opposing teams catcher, watching the feed in the tunnel and then relaying the signs is hilariously bad.
  7. Imagine stealing signs from the 2017 White Sox.
  8. He clearly doesn't need to throw 100 MPH to be effective.
  9. Pretty much this, and they are already sporting a payroll of around 218 million going into 2020. They are also still considering Gardner and Didi. I find it HIGHLY unlikely they are playing with a 250+ million dollar payroll next year. They are much more likely to move assets in a trade.
  10. The Yankees are not going to have a problem with attendance if they trade for Matthew Boyd. Yikes.
  11. ? I 'm pretty sure they will be fine. They are also already at 218 million and will be in year 2 of the tax 2020. Even with Ellsbury coming off next year they have "concerns" if you can even call it that with their budget. I find it highly unlikely they are going to be playing with a 250+ million dollar payroll next year.
  12. Lol. The Yankees have Frazier/Andujar or Urshela/Tauchman/Bird/Voigt all as possible trade pieces depending on what they do. Andujar and Frazier is a decent starting package for a rebuilding AL team.
  13. Sure but the Mets for one aren't trading any of those players, and for 2 it wouldn't be to the Yankees. They have a lot of pieces in the minors and 40 man they need to shed.
  14. Rendon would be incredibly ambitious because you'd have to change your best players position again and probably end up dealing Madrigal.
  15. Steve Stone as well, although he has said multiple times he didn't think it would be Cole but did make mention to watch who opts out.
  16. I still think they make a trade instead of adding a big contract through FA. Maybe Boyd from DET.
  17. Bumgarner is already trending down. Taking him out of that huge fucking park at this stage sounds like a lot of bad money.
  18. I don't think it's about trades, I think it means exactly what it says. But yeah anybody after Vaughn in the minors should be expendable. Madrigal becomes expendable if you land Rendon. Just depends on what shakes out and what deals are available.
  19. Yeah but in this scenario he would be expendable for a big OF bat or pitcher and the Sox would be in win now mode. None of this is ever going to happen of course. But if you can get Rendon on a 5 year deal with this core around him and a couple more additions we could be the favorite in the Central imo.
  20. I mean they could headline a trade for a power hitting RF with Madrigal in this hypothetical scenario or a solid #2 SP.
  21. I can see the Mets landing JBJ since they really need a CF. I'm not really sure what their plans are though.
  22. I think if you do something like this you trade Madrigal and move Yo back to 2B. I wouldn't stick him in RF.
