Getsy did try to run his "system" during the start of the season when he tried to make Fields a pocket passer and it was a colossal failure as Fields was on his way to one of the worst passing seasons in NFL history until Getsy scrapped his "system" and started calling different plays that allowed Fields to get out of the pocket (and good on him for doing so). Now they may have a chance to draft Bryce Young who is lauded for his Aaron Rodgers-like accuracy (see what I did there?) and would allow Getsy to run the offensive "system" he was brought here to run.

If Bryce Young fits their system better as a pocket passer they should absolutely consider drafting him and trading Fields. It should go without saying that Fields is no sure thing either.

They can upgrade the QB position and pick up a couple firsts in the process it's definitely something they have to strongly consider. They're not going to be good next year anyway and this would put the QB and team on a much better timeline for that to happen.

He actually goes by roles and calls it future value which one of the reasons why his system is so confusing. He also created more roles in what I assume is an attempt to not be wrong. In a role system a 50 reliever and a 50 outfielder are the same because they're both league avg players at their positions but the outfielder would rank above the reliever because of positional importance. I wouldn't care so much (or at all?) about his grades and roles and just read what he says because he does provide some interesting thoughts and insights on players.

The ability to hit the ball hard is in the profile of about every 4A player from before there was dirt on the infield. The separator is can he consistently hit the ball hard and with the swing and approach he showed last year the answer is a resounding hells no.
