  1. I think a sweep of KC would do wonders for our mental health. Let's get er done.
  2. I hate relief pitchers who can't throw strikes.
  3. He wears me out!
  4. In late-inning games with a lead, I love having Engel's glove in there.
  5. Robert doesn't play in NY.
  6. I agree...this has become a major problem.
  7. Ricky seems like a great guy and I love the concept of Spanish speaking managers. That said...his lineup construction is pathetic.
  8. I have to say...it's getting old to trail in most games after 1 inning. The pitchers are never prepared to walk to the mound and start pitching.
  9. We all did. Encarnacion and Grandal have been disappointing...starting pitching not very good and lineup decisions that seem foolish. What's to like?
  10. That would be cringe-worthy.
  11. Jirschele is our manager of the future I believe. The future is getting closer every day with these lineup decisions.
  12. Are you suggesting there is something wrong with that??
  13. We could use a nice neat 6-2win with solid pitching and timely hitting. Get back to the basics of winning baseball.
  14. I am always glad when a horrible game like yesterday is quickly followed by another game the next day. Helps erase the memory of such a disgraceful exhibition. Funny how a win tonight will help me forget how bad we looked yesterday.
  15. Yesterday we watched our starter (Keuchel) control the strike zone and make winning look easy. Friday and Today our starters (Geolito and Lopez) couldn't find the strike zone and we were almost out of both games after one inning. What a pleasure watching Keuchel let the hitters get themselves out...just like the good old days with Mark B. I know that Geolito will figure it out but not so sure about Lopez. Interestingly...it was McCann catching Keuchel while our strike framing wonder kid Grandal caught the two wild man games. Hope this gets fixed soon because starting games with 4 and 5 run deficits makes for boring baseball viewing. Sorry...just venting after looking forward to a game that ended up being unwatchable. I hope Dunning & Lambert get a chance sooner rather than later.
  16. I like Delmonico a lot...but I don't want to watch him play baseball.
  17. Adam Engel has provided the only entertainment for this entire game. He's a keeper!
  18. The powers that be really need to stop jacking around with the game. This man on second stuff is not baseball.
  19. A win today would be huge in setting the tone for this season. Time to show Minnesota & Cleveland that they are in for a tough race.
  20. My point is that some guys thrive on pressure...Fulmer doesn't.
  21. Just the kind of team Fulmer needs to find himself. No Pressure.
  22. An observation...I don't remember a WS team that seems to like each other as much as this one. They seem like a bunch of kids having fun.
  23. l Iike Engel a lot in the backup role. The catch in the rf corner shows why he belongs on this team.
  24. He is easy to watch...not laboring.
