  1. Two lineups that don't look half bad. There was a time that one lineup would have maxed us out.
  2. That's what Nellie Fox was and why I like Madrigal so much.
  3. Yermin has a bat that plays even if it's only once per game. Finding a position would be gravy.
  4. When you live in the world of fan adulation...some amount of reaching out to fans is smart. I think players who don't interact with fans, signing autographs, etc....do not do themselves any favors. Just because players don't "need" to interact with fans doesn't mean it is their best interest longterm. IMO Kopech would be wise to make some sort of public comment to his fans.
  5. I think he will be the reincarnation of "little Nel" and that plays fine for me. Hope I'm right.
  6. With our new and improved lineup...we are not out of a 7-1 game.?
  7. Excellent post!
  8. You pose a danger to others when you drive your car. I don't favor hiding in the basement until "it's safe to come out." America won't be here when it's safe to return to normal by some people's standards. Play ball!
  9. I would support allowing 20% of capacity with mask being required. Develop a seating plan much like churches and restaurants are doing. If you don't feel that is safe enough...don't go. If you don't want to wear a mask...don't go. If the bathroom and concession set up is unsatisfactory to you...stay home. Time to allow people to make some decisions on their own.
  10. Baseball helps us feel "normal."
  11. We have a great catching tandem...why break it up for a bag of balls?
  12. Not a bad choice. Works well D J.
  13. It seems like a great way to expose your high prospects to the "bigs".
  14. "Llimited number of fans in the stands"...sounds like a normal year.
  15. Agreed! It's not baseball.
  16. With our pitching depth I feel good about our chances. At the very least we get a good look at our young guys progressing. Might even win depending on how divisions are set up.
  17. I agree with you. Our pitching sets up very well for this type of season. Our young position players get a good taste of the "bigs" and the extra spots allow us to look into the future a bit.
  18. I agree with you. Negotiations need to end with both parties feeling they found a reasonable compromise.
  19. With our deep rotation...I would favor a schedule loaded with double headers.
  20. I'll say it again...neither side is dumb enough to kill the Golden Goose. They do make me wonder however.
  21. Neither side is dumb enough to kill the "Golden Goose." It will get done this week.
  22. I'm sure you are not alone in this belief.
