Anderson, Madrigal, and Robert all had something to like. We are going to lose a third of our games but this was just aggravating.

They are both good catchers....but my personal preference is McCann.

Grandal is paid 16 million and McCann will get whatever. If it turned out to be 30 (which I doubt) the role of catcher/DH is more key than RF is the point.

I don't think sinking approximately 20 million per year into the two catchers/DH's is so prohibitive. Many on this board were willing to sink 30 million per year into one right fielder. Catcher is a much more important position than right field IMO.

Importantly...let's not lose to teams like Pittsburgh.

The boys finish the first half 18-12 a .600 winning %. Duplication of that effort will put us nicely in the playoff picture. With two top-end starters a very solid bullpen and this lineup...we can win it all.

A runner never looks worse than when overrunning third base with no outs. Awful!!!
