I mean whoever is the best pitcher when we get to the draft. Things change a lot with this much time remaining. If things stay the same you options such as trading down or whatever. I am of course not against best player available. Some time soon we will be trading from our arsenal of players we're building up. -

Our lineup tonight matches up very well with Boston. -
Madrigal is playing well. When Madrigal, Robert and Cease come up this club will be very good. Would love to get on the job major league experience.

People already want Jimenez to DH. Some people Abreu to DH. When Collins comes up we will want he or McCann to DH. Can only have so many of these type guys. A pure DH like Vaughn just complicates the situation. Get the best pitcher available is how I would go. -

I like when DH can be used in this manner instead of a permanent one dimensional guy. Main reason I'm not keen on Vaughn. -

One of those finds you hope for in a rebuild. -
This is a big deal !!!
-
Ozzie let his ego get the best of him. He turned his back on the Sox and his kids drove me nuts. No interest!!!
-
However we formed out predictions...we didn't see Anderson, McCann & Moncada being this good. Those with high team expectations thought Jimenez would come up and immediately rake. I believe we will continue improvement throughout the year.
-
His agent makes it hard to work out a a solution that works for both parties.

Getting contributions from some different guys each night. They really do play like a team. Recent games have had McCann, Alonso, Delmonico, Banuelos, Engle and others contribute to some nice wins. These guys weren't even being discussed as meaningful members of the team when the season began. McCann and Banuelos have shown signs that they are the real deal. -
I don't think the boys got the memo. This team has a lot of good things happening lately. The play of Banuelos and McCann have me thinking very positive thoughts. These are the kind of players (unexpected) that change a clubs fortunes.

Please!

To be honest … it hasn't looked like luck. He has very professional looking at bats. -
100% agree.

That away to go Rick.
-
He has me talking to the TV. I don't care how good he is I don't want him ever on the Sox. Stone is talking about his rhythm being slow. I think he's worse than slow.
-
Looked pretty good all in all. Has some rust to knock off after 10 day lay off. Stuff looks good.

JR is a very actively involved owner. He doesn't hire a guy and say go get me a championship. He is actively involved with the day to day player moves unlike most owners. Part of his loyalty to these guys is because he is part of the trio involved in player acquisition. He believes in group think management.
-
It would be prohibitively expensive to retrofit existing stadiums. Your idea of making it mandatory for future new construction is the way to go. JR's group won't be here long enough to recoup the cost. Guess we'll have to wait.
