I've been to 8 home games this year and have seen more than 8 fights in the bleachers. There was a brawl today that went on for almost 10 minutes before security started taking away at least 1 guy (Cubs fan of course) in cuffs. It's not just Cubs/Sox it's been going on all year. Seems to be across sports this year and IMHO it's probably people going way too hard on the liquor after 1+ year of not being able to attend games in addition to heightened anxiety during COVID. If you are taking kids to the game I'd avoid the bleachers. If you really want to sit in outfield the right and right-center seats seem to be much tamer.

So just a normal day?

If I ever meet someone from SoxTalk in person.. One of the top stories I will tell is how I almost got in a fight with Robbie Ray's cousins at the game earlier this year. Some stories I keep off the internet lol.

Yes, season ticket holders get first access starting with full season holders and then partial season ticket holders (40 and 20 game plans) The White Sox will then announce a specific date and time that tickets go on sale to the public. Use a computer as opposed to a phone (faster) and try to get multiple family/friends trying, as they go fast. Also, not sure if they still sell tickets over the phone for postseason but worth a shot doing phone and computer at same time if they do. After they are sold out you will have plenty available on the aftermarket sites. Like you said these will be well over face value. Not sure what pricing will look like as it's been over a decade. I can look up what other teams have been going for in recent years which may give a decent ballpark estimate.

I've NEVER ever disparaged a broadcast on here, and I feel bad talking shit but Gordon Beckham does not belong in the booth. I'm hoping this is just due to inexperience but he's got a lot of work to do if he wants to do this going forward.
