  1. Hahn has had two chances with managers (Ricky promotion / extension & Pedro) plus Tony. A new GM should hire a new ML manager. I'll be glad to keep Pedro the rest of the season if it's a package deal off season. Need Hahn gone, not promoted to continue to destroy the organization.
  2. It's possible Sox trade for prospects, but I think they will be more focused on maximizing salary dump next month, eat less/no money for as many FAs as possible for lottery type prospects. I don't like Hahn's chances of winning a trade vs. Gomes/Friedman.
  3. If Vaughn, Elvis and Seby reach, it will be the first Sox game all 9 starters reached since: May 26: 12-3 win in Detroit LH SP Joey Wentz. May 16: 8-3 win vs. Cleveland RH SP Shane Bieber.
  4. Soxtalk 2026: "Hahn hasn't signed a good shortstop since Tim was hurt in 2022." Nice start Zach, 1.000 OPS!
  5. It can happen to you. if you're young at heart. Len says Tim may have tweaked something. Welcome to The MLB Zach Remillard.
  6. And Tim finds another way.
  7. Let's face it, Jerry Reinsdorf's record of feeding and housing minor league players being paid under minimum wage after MLB bribed Congress to exempt MLB from following minimum wage laws is atrocious. https://theathletic.com/3404269/2022/07/13/white-sox-minor-league-housing
  8. Not defending Pedro, but not guarding the line made sense in that scenario. There were two outs, single ties the game with the runner on second. If the runner was on first, I'm with you. If there were less than two outs and nobody on, to prevent a big inning and the tying run to reach second, I'm with you. In the actual scenario, I want the players positioned to get the final out at first and go home. Steve Stone said the positioning was correct. James Fegan said the positioning was correct. I thought the same thing before and after reading the angst here.
  9. Apparently the Dodgers aren't very proud, honoring these people a few minutes after gates opened. San Francisco won 7-5 in 10 innings.
  10. So Hahn has theoretically three more times to face the media until after the trade deadline. June 19th vs. Texas (Boston) - Likely record 31-42 .425 July 4th vs. Toronto (Saint Louis) - Limited media/interest on holiday. Likely record 35-51 .407 July 25th vs. Cubs (Cleveland follows) - Likely record 37-58 .389
  11. Giolito is going to have to give up zero or one run max for the Sox to squeak out a win this series. Lynn will likely get hammered on Sunday.
  12. Did they consider this a bullpen session for Scholtens' appearance? Who is starting Monday?
  13. Burger will likely be exposed at 3B over a longer stretch, and finish in the mid .750 range for OPS if Yoan is out an extended period.
  14. Two errors on one play. Brilliant.
  15. Thinking more they aren't pitching around Yasmani as they did when he had power to fear.
  16. Keep that belt on Lance, or the Kraken will strike us all.
  17. Teoscar still pwns Sox ass.
  18. Kopech and Banks bore down when they had to. Seattle just did the same this inning.
  19. You may like those Mariners retro hats or uniforms, but I highly recommend not wearing those and dropping rakes in Chicago,
  20. Take Benintendi off the list!
  21. f*** you Pollock. Gutsy start from Kopech and incredible appearance by Banks!
