  1. Smart thinking by Pedro to challenge both the block and safe/out call to get the run.
  2. Yes, I reported on this earlier. These same thugs hit more people afterward 10 blocks south of the stadium after police pursuit before being apprehended.
  3. Good challenge by Grifol, and nice overturn on that play!
  4. Thoughts and prayers. These same thugs hit four more people ten blocks south of the stadium.
  5. Hahn burned their bullpen and Monday starter in Seattle instead of making moves 29 other GMs are capable to make. The bullpen is gassed, will be tomorrow as well. Grifol has no good options. https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/bullpen-usage.php?team=CWS
  6. Bill Veeck in his second offseason in second stint as Sox owner turnaround the White Sox from 64-97 to 90-72, a 36 game improvement. Would need an entire new baseball brain trust, but if the Sox keep losing and drawing 16K on perfect Summer days, it may finally come to fruition.
  7. You get Pride Night. Texas meanwhile has pride on the field. 6-4 Rangers.
  8. Jerry will be the lone employee in the FO with AI and charging fans to vote for each managerial decision.
  9. Texas 8-9 better than the best two White Sox hitters.
  10. Would have walked on four pitches. Goes down 1-3.
  11. Fans saw six Frazier innings in CF, something they will be telling their grandchildren 40 years from now.
  12. Sense of urgency with Frazier terrifying out there. They need to rest Robert more in future games, take him out when they are down 5-6 plus runs. Good for his health and overall production.
  13. Hanging curve ball, Adolis hits very far,
  14. Will be interesting what they attempt to do with him, as he only started 3 times out of his nine ML appearances the past two years (Two at 3 innings, 1 start at 5). My guess is a low leverage reliever who can eat 2-3 innings, which they need especially after losing Crochet yet again.
  15. Would have liked a claim in on Zach Plesac last month to be the sixth starter they failed to stash this Winter. $3M salary this year and Arb Eligible next year. He had a terrible ERA in five starts, but his FIP was nearly half (7.59 vs. a respectable 5th/6th starter FIP 4.50). Touki has a 4.91 ERA, 6.28 FIP. A smidge better than 2023 Jimmy Lambert (5.91 ERA, 6.66 FIP).
  16. So Cease has to throw to Grandal and simultaneously pitch with the worst Sox defensive eight played in recent memory on the South Side. Cease may need to strikeout sixteen and hope the other 11 will be caught behind or in front of him. At least Robert finally gets a day off, his fourth total this year. Two of the three came after the Sox threw him under the bus in May, and one in April.
