  2. Fans always blame coaches, manager, training staff when they have got place to go. Like Zack Mayo.
  3. If you're suddenly motivated, you wasted your career. Bum
  4. Too bad the Sox hadn't moved from him and a lot of guys on 2 years ago. Should be able to recognize lame horses. A good organization would have identified lost causes, found ways to clean house, and had options. But key being, "good oreganization". As soon as I heard covid being bandied about as an excuse, it seemed clear the Sox have poisoned the fanbase with a lack of inertia
  5. I hate to admit it. But Tony looks better as time goes on. But that doesn’t mean he looks good.
  6. Ah, the perils of doing a rebuild on the fly, or keeping one guy while rebuilding around him for no apparent reason. Was it Jerry that said they still wanted to win this year? That would’ve been stupid to say or strive for given the program and circumstances.
  7. The Sox are a very static team. Or were. They acquired a group of players with one vision, and basically stopped adding to it. Or adjusting along the way plus or minus. Ride or die. Anybither team would have moved on from Eloy long ago, or would have a backup plan up and running. Not that they’re trying to win this year. But last year they were. Cease obviously signaling they finally got it through their thick heads to clean house. But they should have been hip deep in a new build before this season
  8. Eloy’s gonna be valuable ?
  9. So, when they get one more guy they’re gonna trade Rodriguez for Cash. Love that Cash guy, he gets around
  10. Until the Sox actually build a roster of accomplishment, if something looks dumb, I will assume it is
  11. Presumably, Philly has the same requirements.
  12. If Philly would rather have him than their own cash, there’s no reason the Sox shouldn’t feel the same about keeping him. 22 years old, how many 22 year olds are still in the Sox system that are complete garbage. At least the guy actually has a few tools
  13. How about the Sox stop trying to get bargain contracts, and pay these guys when they prove something first? The idea hasn’t exactly worked.
  14. Well it just seems like he was hired to be the Sox’ Eberflus, holding the bag for a real manager that comes along to coach the real roster. If ever there is such a thing on the SS. The Grifol era may be here for awhile. Ron isn’t completely off his meds. Why would the Sox ever fire a guy hired to take all the incoming.
  15. Karen Hughes liked this post @adulthotlove
  16. Cmon Man. Canseco never had Covid. Much easier back then
  17. If he’s not gonna be healthy, let him not be healthy going for a starter job.
  18. Bourbon in a milkshake? Worse than graham crackers.
  19. Graham crackers suck. Don’t be building a milkshake with graham crackers!
  20. If he’s the key, to what door, and which room?
  21. The Yankees don’t easily pass along real deal prospects.
