Would love for a 2 run bomb this inning. -

Wouldn't that be cool if Mark breezed through the ninth? It'd be a helluva outing. -

Cmon Mark four more outs. -
If Lexi is out a long time, we have to realilze it's not our year because of fate. His heating up really helped turn this team around. If he's out I say we still need grinder Getz in the lineup. So it's Nix at ss; beckham at 3b and getz at 2b.

Jose may have the best fastball ever for a guy his age (assuming he's about 45). It's like Randy Johnson, Nolan Ryan and Tom Seaver when they were old. They could still bring it.
-
Were you the guy who called Rongey's postgame show last night? Some fan said we would run away with the division. He disagreed but said nobody would run away with the division. Det, Minn and Chi would all be right there.

What's the best seats you've ever had at the Cell?

Good for you holding that fan back. You are the anti Bartman. Good job. I've been in the skyboxes. My dad's partner was one of the investors in Reinsdorf's group or however the Sox are owned. At old Comiskey as a kid we had season tix in about the fifth row behind home plate. I went to about 20 games one summer as a h.s. kid and took friends when my dad didn't use them with work colleagues or met hm there a few times. Now that was fun. -
Your velocity comment is right on. It's amazing how hard he has been throwing the ball. It's really a special talent. Wonder if he can stay healthy and keep it up.
-
Your wallpaper is f***ing amazing. I use it every month. Thanx.

This sucks. He was so hot. Will they rest him 2 days? Greinke is nasty on Friday if Lexi has a bum digit.
-
Forget the WC. We can win the division, but I don't think we will. We're hot right now. Everything seems great. I never thought we'd get this hot. If the starters keep it up and Beckham continues excellence (his bat has really helped the bottom of the order during our sizz) and Lexi keeps this up as well as Pods we can contend. I know those are three bats in a 9 man order, but we had too many automatic outs earlier.
-
He's been a polar opposite. So so bad to open the season when he wasn't ready. Now he is simply great. I wouldn't give him any huge extension. One year deals?
-
Who cares if he wasn't with the club from Day One? Don't worry. Be happy. He's doing well. We're 3 out, which is nothing. There are 12 weeks left. He can do some damage.

Saw the highlights of the game. Couldn't believe the small crowd. Remember when Cleveland had that long streak of selling out every game? Was that 10 years ago? Or about 10 years ago? That place was dead. -- Jose is just dealing. His arm seems so healthy and lively. Can he keep this up?? Man. He throws smoke. -- Paulie is a gem. So consistent this year it's scary. I guess last year truly was the so called "off year." Remember when some fans turned on him a year ago? Classic example of not standing by who seems to be a great guy and great White Sox player. -- Beckham has had an amazing three games in a row. Isn't he something like 8 for 12? Man. -- Once again, nobody is blaming Greg Walker now. You can't have it both ways. Either he's a good hitting coach or not. Nobody gets credit when the bats are rolling like now. But in the 9 shutouts we want his butt fired. It's the players, people. The coaching has little to do with it either way. Walk puts in the time with the players and gives them a chance to succeed with watching film, making sure they can get extra BP, etc. -- Great to see the new backup catcher hit the bomb. Crucial to have him available against lefties when Oz feels AJ isn't up to it. Caught the postgame show on the score with a clear signal tonite. Man the fans from the South Side are pumped up. Two guys said we had the best rotation in baseball. Ranger didn't agree completely. GO SOX.

Why this team COULD NOT and now WILL make playoffs
greg775 replied to YonderLaroche's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Our bats are definitely heating up with the weather (like some of you assured us it would). When you hit like this, the naysayers shut up, the ones who want Walker out. (Big time knock on wood; yes, baseball gods I realize we can get shut out tonight; we've had 9 shutout losses). -
Man, baseball is a weird sport. We just bash Cliff Lee a year after he just mowed everybody down. How can any team in baseball give a pitcher a big contract? You just never know with most pitchers from year to year (except Buehrle of course).

If it was just a cloudburst, did they tell him to just get through the inning? Hope our middle relief is on tonight. We need a good outing from those guys. -

How long did Robin struggle his rookie year before he showed he was a star? Beckham's rise has been way ahead of Robin's, right? -

Do you guys think there's any hope of getting the game in? I really want Beckham to keep his 3 hits. His average is over .260 now. He needs this roll. How about Dye? My god. What a stud. -

We're hosed. Hopefully the umpires will be fair and wait hour after hour cause this game is ours. -
Wasn't this guy a first-round draft pick? Sad. He needs to reinvent himself as a speedy slap hitter.
-
How is Lillibridge hitting in the minors? I'm too lazy to look it up.
-
WHy would they have to send a scout to look at Dye? Doesn't EVERYBODY know everything there is to know about Dye? He's a stud.
-
Remember when Gavin was struggling? Maybe Clayton can turn it around as well.
-
Great line. If Lexi is out, it might be worth doing it tomorrow though, just for grins. The pitch hit him in the head?? WTF. Concussion?
