We lost, so Oz is a bum ... tonight. We win tomorrow and he'll be good again. I think he's good everyday. He's a young young manager who already has a ring. He'll be great the more mature he gets on the bench. GO OZ!

It's easy to say keep that lineup for good when we win 8-1. You'll see holes in it if and when we lose. Sweeney did go 0-6. I know, he hit the ball hard, but BA doesn't deserve to sit the bench the rest of the season.

So you all go by specific decisions of Oz in deciding you hate him like who he had Marte go against??? His decisions would be the same as most all managers in baseball. It's the intangibles, the leadership. Can't you see that? You who give Oz no credit fail to realize it his leadership that led us to the title. My god, we won one title in 60 years. He brought us the title and you refuse to admit he was A BIG REASON!!! Go ahead and blast me because I don't care if he put Marte in the game and it backfired. He uses the roster given him. After reading your post, fathom, I see the two different camps of people. Those managerial decisions you commented on ... I don't remember any of them nor do I care. I don't put a lot of stock in what happens when he brings in pitcher a.) who fails against batter b. I believe most managers manage by the book and use the personnel provided them. As such I blame the personnel more than the manager when it fails unless it is just simply a horrific manager like Bevington. In that case I'd blame the manager more. My camp is I see the intangibles in a manager. I like Oz's youth, enthusiasm and ability to keep the entire team involved. I feel without talent he fails like anybody else and I think our talent has failed him a lot this year.

Fathom do you at least agree you like all fans love Oz when we win? Admit it ... last year after we won it all were there any negative thoughts in your mind about Oz?? Go back in time as you celebrated all those postseason wins. Any negativity at all toward Oz? Be truthful. A year later, he's the same guy. We are a twoweek win streak from all loving the guy again. Not saying we will do that (knock on wood).
