Game Thread-White Sox vs. Angels(Fri., April 28)
I've missed the game thus far. Can somebody describe it in 10 words or less?

Plus Jenks is no strike throwing machine, either.

Chicago Cubs and Sox Fan
The North Dakotan does sound like a Cub fan to me. I'd just keep asking him questions about the Sox whenever you see him and keep suggesting you go to more games ... Sox games! When I was a kid it was funny my grandpa was a Cub fan and so was my uncle but the rest of the family loved the Sox. I'd go with my grandfather to a lot of Cub games to keep him company. I was about 10. Those Cub games were sold out so much many times I'd be in one seat and he'd be a couple aisles away. I guess he had to buy single tickets to get us in. He was such a nice guy he'd never much brag about the Cubs or anything. He must have known deep down I preferred THE SOX!

White Sox @ Mariners 4/26
Greg...we're not talking about actually acquiring Sizemore. This is a decade old argument we've had with jphat that he'd rather have Pods as a leadoff hitter than Sizemore. Oh, OK, sorry bout that. I would prefer last year's Pods. But I fear he may be about done. Like you said if he can only steal 50 percent of the time we're screwed.

White Sox @ Mariners 4/26
There is a big reason why ozzie is the manager of the world champions and your padding your post count whining in a forum. --great line. made me laugh on this dismal night. I love Oz.

White Sox @ Mariners 4/26
Saying that you would rather have Sizemore starting in LF over Podsednik is not being negative -- it's being realistic. No it isn't. We can't get Sizemore so why even care about that? I wish we had Rowand instead of Pods, tho Pods has been hot lately.

White Sox @ Mariners 4/26
Nothing is more frustrating than watching a close 3-0 pitch called a strike, then the next pitch out of the zone popped up. Hard to have baserunners when players are popping up pitches out of the zone in full counts. I would agree with that. That indeed sucks.

Is anybody on here a Widger fan? Please convert me. I've never been high on the guy.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Did anybody expect Iguchi to hit like this? Knock on wood, keep it going! He has been awesome. And what a career Konerko has made for himself in Chicago. That is turning out to be one of the best acquisitions in Sox history. Who did we trade for him? He is a STUD! Go Sox!

All quiet in soxdom
It's quiet, but I just read the suntimes, trib and southtown and the columnists are all over Reinsdorf about the hair thing. I see Freddie is not pleased. Interesting. Cotts doesn't seem too thrilled, either, though AJ and Crede are taking it in good fun. I notice Moronotti and the Southtown guy are calling Reinsdorf out of touch with hairstyles.

Mark Buehrle Contract Talk
Money will ultimately decide this issue. How true.

L10
Uh....no. I love Mark but he's not in Santana's league.' Uh yes, Mark Buehrle is in Santana's league.

Mark Buehrle Contract Talk
Add me to the list of people on here who also wishes Kenny would not be as negative regarding Mark B. Buehrle is a stud. He can say what he wants about the Cards as far as I am concerned.

Sox vs Royals 4/19
instead of 10-5 we really should be 14-1 maybe 13-2, I'm just sayin. Welcome to baseball. There are too many idiosyncracies about the game to say we "should be 14-1." 10-5 is probably what we should be. We deserved to lose 2 of 3 in KC that weekend. And Cleveland is a good team that flat out beat us 2 of 3. GO SOX!

Anderson not first to get off so slowly
No need to jump off the bandwagon yet. As long as we're winning, he can play and try to learn from this. p.s. Did you see how frustrated he was after his final at bat?

Hair Cuts Coming
Even Best Buy puts limitations on earrings and hair length. Best Buy is a joke. Best Buy management should be ashamed of itself. This is stupid. JR should have mentioned it to Oz and Oz took care of it if the haircuts truly got too long. AJ was ready to get it cut anyhow it sounds like. Stupid.

Iguchi hitting
I don't know, but Iguchi's hitting has really sparked our team. He has been an incredible spark leading into Thome, Konerko, Crede, Dye, etc.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!&#
Only Brian Anderson could strike out 3 times against the f***ing Royals. The Sox are 2-2 against the f***ing royals. That isn't domination. Cliff looked amazing. Is that the real Politte?
-
Dont take Royals lightly
The Royals do suck, but they have veterans like Sweeney, Grud, Graff and Sanders who are capable of beating us again as they did in KC. Play the regulars, Oz.

So is Cintron a starter?
I am not a big Widger fan. I do like Cintron, though.

No more tarp sliding for Buehrle
I have yet to see anyone get injured slip and sliding over a slip and slide or a tarp. --I agree it's b.s. to fine him. I hope they show it on ESPN over and over, but your post did remind me. I know a guy who actually is paralyzed because he head firsted on a slip and slide when he was a freshman in college. Amazing but true. He's a heck of a person too. He's made a great life for himself as an academic counselor at a college. It shows you can bust your body up.

Freddy v. Iguchi, no big deal
Hey, I made a mistake. That was not the AP; that was Dave van Dyck's account from the Trib. Sorry about that.
-
Anderson not first to get off so slowly
Oops, I see Pods got two hits today. Nice.

Anderson not first to get off so slowly
I thought he'd do great right off the bat. It wouldn't hurt for him to ask Thome what he did during that rehab stint or whatever it was that got Thome going at the end of spring training. I'm not giving up on Anderson. He looks like too good a prospect/physical specimin, but like somebody on here said, it's tough to watch him bat now. Mack is sucking just as badly, however. Mack needs to start hitting. And Pods.
