If we can't sign Maggs I hope he does go to the Flubs. It sickens me that we are a small market team in such a big city. If Reinsdork can't get creative in making money from tv, etc. in such a big city and he refuses to re-sign Maggs, I hope he does go to the Flubs. Maggs probably doesn't want to leave town, anyway. Good point about bunting. A guy with no power like Willie and a guy with his wheels sure could use some great bunting ability. Is he an acceptible bunter or horrid? He is so fast if he could plop bunts toward third he'd be in good shape. Those bunts lefties make toward second base usually suck.

Good post. At first I feared it was going to be "tonight is important for Buehrle to prove he's a good pitcher, blah blah." I agree with your 3 comments about why it's important for him. Glad to see it's not some dope comment about Mark B having to show he's a big game pitcher or some stupid stuff like that.
