Garland is worthy of being a starter on our staff. So what if he's not a 1 or 2 starter. Who said he was?

Brando, good post listing many many reasons why we lost, then you end up blaming Judy. I think that's stupid and ruins a good post. Garland is a big leaguer; Gload is not.

p.s. We need a good lefthanded bat as well as the other areas that have been well discussed.

Why do you think trading Loaiza, Paulie, etc. is going to make us a better team?? Yes the Cubs are going to beat the s*** out of us tomorrow. But it's not time to sell the whole f***ing team. Sometimes I think some fans act like we are a team with money. We can ship all the players we want, we are still going to have holes as a small market team. You said: "Maggs and Loaiza. And if anyone wants Valentin, they could deal him off as well." I can't believe some front runners who are fans. Love Valentin when he wins a game; hate him when he has a bad day.

His value is none above a #4 starter. Fine, make him our No. 4 starter. He's a good guy to have on our staff. It ain't his fault he's not a No. 1 or 2 at the age of 24.

Hopefully the players will win so Oz can stick around a while. It should be incentive. They could have a grump as skipper. If they want Oz to be their skipper, they ought to bust their ass and win as many as possible.

Is it a slump we are in or does Cleveland have a better team than our Sox? I find it difficult to believe Cleveland and Minnie have better players than our Sox, but it is possible. We're creeping mighty close to .500. Is it safe to say we are a pretty s***ty team minus Maggs??

I won't defend their lapses. I say fine them, but like Man of Steel says, they are great players. s*** happens and they must be forgiven. There are other reasons we got beat once again. The sad thing is we didn't win after yesterday's dramatic win. I thought that would turn us around for good.

Blaming Cooper is and will be a cop out. Teams like the Sox always find scapegoats in assistant coaches. The scapegoat is Reinsdork and KW. They've put together this .500 team, one that again is going to lose out to Minnesota if we don't get our act together.

He shouldn't be, but there's always gotta be a scapegoat for cheap ass organizations that won't pay to compete.

Brando may be right. He did sqash some momentum we had. If you believe in clubhouse chemistry there may be a point some low payroll teams no longer feel the magic. I hope Koch didn't do that to us? We need a feel-good victory or a return of Maggs.
