  1. Hey, what about Dick Allen? What bout Luis Aparicio? Harold Baines and Bill Pierce? And Ed Walsh. Start a new poll with them on it too!
  2. Hey, somebody who watches the next game on WGN, send this question to Hawk and DJ off email interactive. That would be neat to hear their response. I don't know who to pick. Maybe Wilbur Wood???? Kidding.
  3. I love Crede cause he's won 3 games for us this year late, but I get frustrated with his anemic batting average. Say it ain't so ... Joe. Start hitting and become Robin V. Jr. before we all go crazy. Thank you very much.

    Ozzie

Check Jose's career stats. He's a good baseball player. I am rooting for Uribe but he ain't Jose.
  5. You are correct, sir. Our pitching hasn't been too bad. We need walks, hits n runs.

    Ozzie

Yes I think Jose V. is better than Uribe.
  7. It's amazing the boys played so badly with such a big crowd. Do the Twinks deserve credit more than us deserving the blam?
  8. I think it's apparent Aaron isn't the answer. Can we all agree on that? He's gotta be the scapegoat.
  9. It may be Reed time to take over for Aaron, but be prepared for him to hit about .100 like DeJesus did when the Royals brought him up to replace Guiel anointing him as savior. We're bound to start hitting ... aren't we??

    Sox lose

I agree ChiSoxfan ... I was just throwing that out there cause usually the hitting coaches get the blame.
  11. Any Stooge can realize we are what we are... a bit better than a .500 team. The only tweaking we need to do is give up on Aaron and maybe start thinking about sitting Joe a bit more. Can Uribe play third??

    Ozzie

Jose is a better player than Uribe.

    Sox lose

Will Greg Walker be the scapegoat? That's what usually happens when the lineup goes anemic. Fire the hitting coach. Looks like Aaron is about washed up. His .214 average is not good enough. As far as the others ... Paulie's .229 is abysmal also. Joe at .220. Lee at .242. Frank just over .250 and Maggs dipping to .289. We are becoming punchless. Hopefully we can stay close to .500, heat up and win the pathetic Central.
  14. Does anybody remember if Oz was a good bunter when he played? Did he put down the sac bunt with aplomb or was he a hack trying to bunt? I can't recall. I know he hardly ever walked. but could Oz put down a sac bunt? That killed us when Sandy couldn't lay down the bunt.
  15. while i in no way am calling for Ozzie's head, i will say that Ozzie, and the offense for that matter, were absolutely f***ing pathetic tonight That's a fair statement in my opinion. This type of game again is why I think that writer's column saying our lineup would be fine without Maggs was such a piece of s***. I blame Sandy more than anybody. Get the frickin bunt down.
  16. Wow, Ozzie completely killed our chances in the 9th. s*** happens. We stunk tonight. Let's win amorrow. The Twins have our number.
  17. he had to leave the bunt on. sandy woulda rolled into a dp
  18. Beltran is destined to be a Yankee or a BoSox. 95 percent Yankee. KEEP MAGGS!
  19. Way to go, Mr. Konerko. Thanks, we needed that.
  20. No offense, but I can't understand why anybody would agree to a trade of Maggs. I can't believe the guy wrote this paragraph: Even without him, the Sox still have five potential 20-home run hitters. Who's to say that Carlos Lee can't put up Ordonez-like numbers in the No. 3 hole — and steal 20-plus bases to boot? Give me a break. Our lineup without Maggs is crippled!!!!!!!
  21. D'Angelo sucks. He is on my f list with poor todd ritchie.
  22. You need to write a letter to Reinsdork and copy it to KW and all the major newspapers. The ballpark should be a safe haven, case closed. Reinsdork will want to know this is going on.
  23. Great responses by both of ya. I still remember my exciting match against Donkey in that trivia contest. Donkey outlasted me. He is a wealth of knowledge. Admit it Donkey ... how did you get all my questions correct???
  24. Is anybody else worried that another ebullient, exuberant, enthusiastic manager, Tony Pena, now is being deemed sort of a clown on the KC talk shows. And that Oz appears to be the Tony realm of managers? Exciting, excitable, peppy, etc? I like Pena and love Oz, but I wonder if it still only boils down to the players. Won't modern day ballplayers pretty much loaf on any coach unless they are the rare breed (Clemenses, Ripkens, Bretts, Fisks) that love to play the game? In other words, do you think Oz is doomed or will he be MOY in the AL?
  25. The pen sounds good. Put him in there pronto.
