If he signs with NY good for him. He can go there and face the scrutiny and the boos ( I realize our fans boo, too) and be miserable like Weaver and all those other guys who have choked under the pressure of the Apple. That said, I hope we get to keep him. He's been a good acquisition, unlike Ritchie.

The Royals play the Rays 4 times next weekend while we play Oak. Not good. We do need to take care of business vs. KC somehow again. I tend to agree with Roman about the playoffs. We played so bad for so long early in the year we are impatient because we somehow need to build a 5 game lead on the Royals and Twins and that is difficult to do without playing .850 ball for 3 weeks or so.

Can somebody remind me how we acquired White? Was it a trade gone bad or ? He didn't seem as bad a guy in the clarification column by Arvia in the Southtown. But he sure stunk.
