  1. Good post by whomever started this out ripping tonight's lineup. As badly as most of our hitters have been all year, I now am down on Daubach. The guy can't hit, folks.
  2. Somebody give me a good reason why one of these things should not happen after this game if we lose it. a.) Manuel gets fired. b.) KW gets fired. c.) We sent 2-3 players to the minors. d.) Frank Thomas our alleged leader does not f***ing destroy the Tiger clubhouse. Why does our team not care?????????? SOmebody tell me please. I will listen intently.
  3. Let''s face it. Our problems are all mental. We don't come to win against horses*** teams. If we lose this game, I wish we'd fire somebody, anybody, or send somebody out of town, somebody, anybody.
  4. Great points. Does anybody know what our record is against Det. this year. You know Det. is one of the worst teams in the history of baseball. How we doing against these powerful Tabs?
  5. I wouldn't say Garland has done nothing. He's pitched pretty damn well for a guy his age.
  6. Another good game from Garland. Too bad we couldn't score 3 runs against the worst team in the history of baseball.
  7. If you want to draw 1,100 fans a night, build a dome for baseball. Chicago fans are not f***ing stupid morons. They realize outdoor baseball is baseball. Indoor baseball is an abomination.
  8. I love Hawk. What is Melton like on the radio. We don't get him here in KC. Bill was a better player than DJ, so put Bill next to Hawk a year or two.
  9. Let's face it, even though baseball is a funny game, if we have any designs on postseason we have to win EVERY series against the two worst teams in baseball. To lose a series to Detroit is totally unacceptible.
  10. Great posts. JM would never win money at a Vegas craps table. He won't ride the rare hot streak. Tinkering does suck.
  11. Donkey said: I think its called playing to the level of your competition. As much as I hate to say it, the Sox have done this for the better part of 3 seasons now. You are correct sir. Do you think it's because even though they are millionaires they hate working for Jerry Reinsdork and KW? Is there some innate problem where they just mail it in against bad teams? This team needs Lou Piniella but there's only one Lou to go around.
  12. I don't blame ya. He is pathetic all of a sudden. I can't believe he hit that homer to save that one recent game. We need to let him sit the bench the rest of the season along with Koch. Play both of em one of every six games or so.
  13. To lose another low scoring game to a team like this is bulls***. I mean sleepwalk if you want, White Sox, but win it 3-2, not lose 2-1. Let's face it. Our team has no heart. We've lost three of four to Rays and Det now after getting excited about playing some good teams. At least Rowand got 2 more hits. He's becoming one of my favorite Sox. For some reason I get the feeling he cares. Maybe I'm wrong.
  14. Nothing wrong with Olivo. But I wouldn't say he's our future, not with our trade happy GM. Seems he could trade anybody at any time. Do you guys n girls think Rowand is gonna hit before its over? Seems he's hot.
  15. Good point, if we win, nobody can ignore us. Obviously the Cubs will always get attention; we have to win to get attention, which I guess is OK. We tore down our loveable ballpark; they kept their rathole that the public loves.

    Rios

Funny how many guys don't pan out, but I agree it'd be OK to let him continue playing minor league ball in our system. He stunk on our parent club, however.
  17. Clujer said: I'm being serious...was ANYBODY surprised when we couldn't score with the bases loaded and nobody out? It's happened SO many times that I'm numb to it. When the final out was made, I didn't even get mad -- I knew it was going to happen 5 minutes before it did. Anyone who was surprised obviously hasn't watched this Sox team in '03. Not that we're a bad team -- it's just that there are certain situations where they are virtually assured to fail. Men on base with less than 2 outs is one of those situations. --Yeah I was surprised. I figured we could get a run, dos or tres.

That guy was no good; we are best rid of him, right?
  19. When will KW be fired?
  20. Why did we run Foulke out of town? Why did Sox think he was finished and Koch was the answer? KW should be fired.
  21. Does he throw strikes? If so make him the closer. Is Tom Gordon gonna be our new closer?
  22. Nice to pound the ball today. Is Aaron Rowand turning into a great hitter?

    Carlos Lee

Keep Carlos. And if we trade Crede at this point, we are idiots.
  24. It really must be true about D'Angelo being a clubhouse cancer. Glad he's gone.
  25. Slumps happen; he didn't pitch like Ritchie in many of those losses. He's young and he is a stud. Roman, Roman, lend me your ear ... please comment on Mark B. now.
