We need to re-sign Robbie. Is anybody gonna pay Robbie massive bucks again?? What team would be that stupid? I mean I love Robbie's contributions so far, but if any team gives him mega bucks, they are beyond idiotic. Do you folks think Robbie will sign for an amount where we will keep him? Cause Harris is scary and though I like what I've heard of Miles, I'd rather have somebody established like Roberto. As far as Febles, I agree if we can put him in our minor league system fine, but you make a great point. If Pena can't get it out of him nobody can. He is a great guy, however, and gives 100 percent effort.

I've made a lot of stupid posts out of frustration of a specific ballgame and nobody has blasted me personally. I respect the opinions of many on here and love reading their takes. I forget all the names now, but there have to be 10-12 people I enjoy reading their takes. I've found as long as I don't call anybody names they don't call me names. Even Roman!! I came close to calling Roman an idiot one time but he wasn't even mad. GO SOX!

Forgive me if this is a stupid post, but could last night's game be a microcosm of the season as it will ultimately turn out? We battle back only to fall just short in the end because of our stretches of s***tiness? What I'm saying is we keep clawing back and catch KC or even pass them by a half game, only to see KC build that lead back up, us claw back, and see KC or Minn. ultimately beat us by 2 in the standings, similar to the 10-8 score. I am not giving up, but I'm just wondering if our s***tiness of April and May means we just ain't gonna get over the hump. p.s. I agree with you all. We didn't deserve to win that game. Poor Roberto, who has been great for us, had such a bad game at the plate.

Our fans boo some. We've booed Koch, Manuel and others. Is that not correct?

If he signs with NY good for him. He can go there and face the scrutiny and the boos ( I realize our fans boo, too) and be miserable like Weaver and all those other guys who have choked under the pressure of the Apple. That said, I hope we get to keep him. He's been a good acquisition, unlike Ritchie.

Nice post, killa. Sometimes you have to be at the game to get the feel and I sense the crowd was outraged. Now I am thinking JM must go. Those of you there who had a feel for the game better than me and TV think he should have continued on. JM showed no confidence in him at all. Bad move. Our relief sucked.

I thought Garland was pitching like an idiot myself, but I wasn't at the game. If that many fans were pissed he must have been doing OK. Our pitching is starting to suck. Hopefully we can rebound.

Garland also was horses***. This is a wild game. I liked it better when our starters were awesome.

I want to make the playoffs regardless. It is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. That goes for the playoffs too. I am a competitor and want to take our chances in the playoffs. I just think it's sad we're already two back of KC again. They ain't goin away.

The Royals play the Rays 4 times next weekend while we play Oak. Not good. We do need to take care of business vs. KC somehow again. I tend to agree with Roman about the playoffs. Folks, I still like our chances, but the Royals aren't going away. Their schedule is much easier than ours and Sweeney is due back. We need to beat them 2 of 3 this week.

We played so bad for so long early in the year we are impatient because we somehow need to build a 5 game lead on the Royals and Twins and that is difficult to do without playing .850 ball for 3 weeks or so.

You are right. Great trip, but I'm concerned also we can't play with the big boys. We need to take 2 of 3 from KC in the obvious statement of the year.
