Race doesn't matter. I was one hoping we'd can him earlier when all of our players were hitting .220 it seemed and all we did was lose. But JM appears to be doing well and as of now, some of Kenny's acquisitions have really appeared to help us. If we keep winning, none of us are gonna want JM gone.

Amen, Roman. We did let 'em get their motivation back several times and we squashed it. I'm really glad we won Game 3 cause the way we hit this series, it would have been sad to not complete the deal tonight and sweep.

Good point Jim. This series is in the books. It's history. Time to move on. I mean if we lose to Seattle and they beat Tampa they can pick 3 games back on us quick and next week again will be us trying to sweep to catch up. It's one at a time, baby. I can say I like or have nothing against all of our players excpt Koch (I like his quotes in press, but hate his performance), White (his performance sucks), Harris (I don't think he can play), the Sandy of last year (I'll give him credit for a pretty damn good season this year), Kenny Williams, Reinsdork. I'm not a big fan of Dauber, either, but I have a sneaky feeling if we make the playoffs he may whack a key pinch hit homer. I still don't like KW but he I will give him credit for trying to make some things happen. And with Evans sucking with the dodgers, the KW hire is a bit easier to take.

That play by Alomar was unbelievable. We now have a chance at the playoffs and Series at least. With D'Angelo and Harris in the lineup we had NO chance. Alomar's defense really really is important to us.

The way Flash finished off the Royals Monday makes me fairly confident in him. He should be the closer until he starts to suck. Do you really want Koch in tonight if we lead by one in the ninth??

You make good points. My animosity is because of White's performance. I don't want to see him on the mound or read his comments. I just want him to go away.

Steinbrenner is the reason baseball has all its problems. Plus the way other owners react to Steinbrenner. In the NFL, just about everybody has a chance because of the sane contract situation there and salary caps. Baseball is overall a joke because of the Yankees and the way other teams react to the Yankees. Now Gammons is saying Baltimore is going to spend 60 mill more in the offseason. These owners have overpaid forever and eventually only rich f***s will be able to afford tickets.
