I hope we keep Colon, also. We have David Wells one year, get rid of him for money reasons and he all of a sudden gets good again with the Yanks. That's why I say we are hexed. Colon is going to excel for years to come, so why only keep him one year?? Keep him.

I sort of agree with Yasny. We had nice wins against lowly balt, then sucked in Minn. That showed we had little to no hope.

I agree with Jim. why not? Bring those guys up and experiment the next month or 2 and bring most of the regular guys up for September when it gets cold again. People might come out to the park to watch this team of minor leaguers if they reduce prices a bit also.

Can't argue with that, Cerbaho. You are correct. Jose V has sucked this year and D'Angelo has hit OK. Jose has been a major disappointment with most of the guys.

It probably would be smart to simply send many of these guys down and bring some up and just experiement. What we're doing isn't working and it isn't very interesting. We ought to send Jon down and bring somebody up. Why not? We get 10 hits tonight which is our most in a long time, but still only three runs til the ninth.

Good point Cerbaho ... But you've got to admit nobody with the exception of Maggs deserves to be playing. EVERYBODY is sucking, except Maggs and maybe D'Angelo and D'Angelo is not reminding anybody of Ichiro. I mean Crede sucks, but EVERYBODY sucks. We can't bench 'em all.

Anybody who watched that game can see we've mailed it in. We've packed it in already. We played just well enough to lose. We were pushovers. Held our little 1-0 lead til it mattered late. Then Zona just dusted us off and won a non-thrilling game. I can't believe baseball is a multi million buck organization and our owners can stand for this bulls***. How the GM and manager are still around in a MULTI MILLION buck business is amazing. Our young players, some of em are promising but made so many mistakes tonight and our vets did little. All we got is pitching. FIRE EVERYBODY.

It's the eighth inning and after leadoff double methinks we're going down cause we couldn't score more than one skimpy run. It is amazing how pathetic we are at the plate. E-Lo has pitched one helluva game!

You called it. Loaiza strokes a hit. Then Jimenez can't bunt and Lee rolls into a double play. Jimenez should be fined for popping up that bunt. That is disgraceful for a leadoff man. We are a joke offensively.

Now that we're getting used to not being able to hit, maybe we should just go for defensive players in the future. Olivo is a good start at catcher and Crede at third, right? Defensively we are below ave in many areas correcto?
