It'd be interesting to hear from Hawk or one of the baseball writers what the players think of Jiminez. If he is lazy and a bad influence that would affect my opinion of him. I do agree he doesn't deserve to be ripped too much for his hitting. His average has been around .290 to .300 all year, right?

Thank God the Royals are beating up on the Twinks, pushing our division leaders even closer to our mediocrity. I don't think we have the hitting to contend, but at least we're still breathing.

I can't quite figure out Roman. I think he's trying to defend his love of Frank, but I don't understand his hatred of Mark B. I mean Roman, tell us what you think of Harris, Crede, Konerko, Rowand, Olivo, Jose V., Tom Gordon, Rick White, Koch, also. My guess is you hate all of them cause they've pretty much all been as bad as Mark B.

It's amazing we can get 3 in the first, then jack squat. But you are right, hitting coaches don't matter. We ought to apologize and bring Ward, back, cause it's the guys holding the lumber, not the coaches. Our players are the ones who can't hit.

All I know is I received great praise from buddies one night as Chris Singleton stepped to the plate in a non bunt situation when I said, "Watch, he will beat out a bunt." He did, and the entire party freaked out. The reason I said it is I'd seen him reach via bunt many a time.

Josh you don't remember Singleton's bunts? He could bunt.

Singleton could bunt but we got rid of him. I'm thinking Cameron could bunt too, but we got rid of him.

Roman I'm surprised you are that upset at Mark B. If you read all his comments, they are not that vicious or controversial, don' t you think? I mean I guess he could have just said no comment or "I deserve to be booed," but he showed some life which I can't say for most of our inept players. I mean the guy had 2 great years and now is sucking like the rest of this lifeless team. I haven't seen that many games, so maybe you've seen laziness in Mark's performance or something. I'm sure you have your reasons, but I am not nearly as upset as you about his comments about the booing. What bothers you the most bout Mark B.
