And that's a White Sox winner!
Machado has 21 RBI this season, but I guess there'll be some advanced stat saying he's having a way better season than Abreu. We're already six weeks into the season. I don't want to be part of a sport if that sport tells me Abreu is only average. Oh well, I need to stop responding or I'll get banned. Just remember when Abreu hits his next home run I am a big fan.

I'm glad I'm enjoying every minute of Abreu's career. Not the team, but his individual career. He is one class act. Pay him. Enjoy him. Respect him. Thank u.

Sox vs Indians, 5/13 7:10PM CT
Why not try to win it? We got the $$ to spend.

And that's a White Sox winner!
Moncada! He's special. Abreu has 10 homers and 36 RBIs. Most underrated Sox player in years. All the guy does is produce. Give him some money, Jerry.

Rodon TJS
They only listed 2 categories to pick from. Being a whiner or a dude. Whiner seems wrong to me.

Rodon TJS
Cmon. It's not cut and dried. Your categories are wrong. The categories are: 1.) Anger door. Anger at all aspects Sox baseball starting with the product and performance of the front office. 2.) Go ahead and call it the dudes door but I'm not sure what it takes to be a dude. Just "whatever will be will be; I'll always love baseball and the Sox and am OK with everything going on." Is that what a dude is? I don't see how anybody can be OK with this organization. To say we're all whiners I think is inaccurate. I'd say anger and disgust, not whiner.

Abreu trade value?
Cause he wants next year's money too. No team will be dumb enough to pay him next year's total. That's what I meant. He won't care about this year. He still gets that money. To abruptly cut him just to not pay him next year's haul should bother him I'd think.

Adolfo out for 2019
Baseball has an injury problem. Ugh.

Rodon TJS
No. 3 pick in the 2014 Draft. OK the rebuild fanatics are safe here. We weren't exactly tanking yet when we took him No. 3 overall so he doesn't count as a flop in the rebuild era, just a bit before. But it still is a horsebleep draft pick in hindsight. Somebody should pay for what turned out to be the wrong pick. That said, injury wise, I wish him the best. He had some good outings and I wish him well in his recovery and comeback.

An Interesting Idea with Rodon
There is no reason to sign him. None. If the Sox can't afford a surgically rebuilt Rodon, then they have major problems.

And that’s a Pretty in Pink White Sox Winner....
We didn't win many clean games like this on the road last year so maybe we're getting a little better. Hopefully. ...

Sox @ Jays 5/12 12:07CT Happy Mothers Day!
Kind of a good sign we win some road games this year so far. We shall see. At times our lineup looks so awful. If I didn't know better I'd say we have a much better record than we should under Ricky.

Yet so many fans hate rushing players. Seems to me a player is only popular from 23 to 28. Under 23 he's been rushed big time. Over 28, yawn, do not sign him to a long term deal! (Sox inexplicably signed some old guys this year in Alonso, Jay and McCann, 29 in June). Pitchers can go much longer of course. Nobody minds a 35 year old pitcher if he's been relatively healthy.

Let's just assume McCann is Johnny Bench reincarnated. Play him all but one day a week. Seems like a smart ballplayer too. Hit 'em where they ain't.

Yonder snapping out of his slump? That would help this team a lot.

Sox @ Jays 5/12 12:07CT Happy Mothers Day!
Glad to see Guerrero playing in big at age 20 and Tatis at age 20. Might start a trend in letting young guys play in the bigs much much earlier than they do now? Rush them? I say play them (at 20, 21, 22).

Abreu trade value?
Interesting. Man he's gonna be one, furious guy if the Sox stop playing him or cut him. I wouldn't want to be the one to tell him.
-
Abreu trade value?
Am I missing something? He makes 9 mill in 2020. How can they cut him if that's the case? Teams have money to burn I guess. Yonder drew 9 walks in Sox's first six games. Since then he's had 10 walks in 30 games. He's a player going up there hitting into the shift time after time. One has to wonder if playing on a wretched team affects his desire to walk. Just hack away.

And That's a White Sox Winner !
He had some pretty vicious posts for a while there. Certainly he was put on vacation, right? (I have no knowledge either way, just figured as somebody who has been suspended a couple times).

Sox @ Jays 5/11 2:07 PM
I wouldn't say nothing. Isn't McCann a 4 million dollar guy? Tilson isn't making anything I'd guess.

And That's a White Sox Winner !
Great win. I give credit when it's due. Hahn looks good today with Nova and McCann and Tilson. Keep it up, please. I am in a good mood when the Sox win.
-
Abreu trade value?
Rutherford is only 22. You can't hit much worse than he has through his first 100 at bats this season, though. He's shown no power in his career so far as well. Right now I'm on the Tilson bandwagon. Hope he keeps hitting even if they are singles.

Sox @ Jays 5/11 2:07 PM
Just saw the box score and watched the highlights. McCann loves that opposite field. Beautiful. Alonso is worthless in the shift era. Keep pulling the ball to second, Yonder. Glad to see a lot of guys do well. Nova has battled back after the game where it appeared he should be DFA. I guess Hahn deserves credit for McCann. I wish all hitters would have his current approach. You don't have to pull everything. Just think if Tilson can stay healthy. He should play every day during this tank season and see if he's a regular. He's off to a nice start. Would be neat if he and McCann hit all year.

Abreu trade value?
I'm sick of trade talk. Sick of tanking. The Sixers-Raptors game seven is huge for the tank people. No team has tanked more than Philly to rebuild. If they can't even win this round, one big lol at tanking. Tanking does not always work, folks. A good general manager in baseball can keep the team competitive without tanking. Get a very good manager (which we don't believe in doing), make smart draft picks even if they are, heaven forbid, as low as No. 15 in round one for your first pick, make smart acquisitions and you stay on top. I have no idea how the Sox are worth one billion dollars, but they are, and Jerry and the partners are laughing so hard all the way to the bank. Be objective. Since '05, the Sox front office has made so many bad trades, so many bad draft picks, so many dumb moves with managers ... and yet nobody has been fired in the front office. It is insane. And fans? We talk about trading one consistently good player, Abreu, over and over, year after year. We deserve what we get ... players like Yonder Alonso and John Jay and the great Adam LaRoche.
