How Unconcerned Should We Be?
Couldn't he have organized the data better? Do balls horizontally (0, 1, 2, 3), and go top-to-bottom for strikes (0, 1, 2). The chart as it is takes unnecessarily long to read... not sure what is the order. Also, would be interested to know: 1) What is the ML average for each count (as others have posited) 2) How many "takes" are there for each of these counts.

Old Sock Drawer, ex Sox player discussion
Could be worse. Could have had Cesar for longer than 2 months.

Robinson Cano
Hasn't stopped others from suggesting Burger, Vaughn, and others at 2B.
- ESPN+ grades White Sox an F for first month.

Robinson Cano
It'll be Robby Alomar 2.0. Or would it be 3.0? Either way, it's bad.

Where'd this closer come from?

Time to Sacrifice Dallas
..but as soon as the offense performs to even 50% of its capabilities, he will be one of the top 5 reasons this team is losing.

Who is the HP umpire??

Vaughn/Burger could see 2B
I'd rather see Cease at 2B.

So what happens now?

GAMETHREAD 4/26/22: KC Royals at ChiSox (Lynch vs Keuchel) 6:10 pm CDT
Leaving Hendriks in is the one decision I don't fault TLR for. He's your bullpen ace. The game lives or dies with him, and that's what he's paid to do. If he says he's OK, you leave him in the game. ...but then you have to tell him to walk Buxton.

GAMETHREAD 4/26/22: KC Royals at ChiSox (Lynch vs Keuchel) 6:10 pm CDT
He's available out of the bullpen. (Note: the more I think about it, the more this makes sense to me with Keuchel starting)

I'm guessing no other manager would have hit Leury in the #3 spot under any circumstances other than as a double switch, which would only be possible if we lost the DH in the middle of the game. So yes - I would say almost anybody could manage this team to a better record at this time.

TLR 2022 Thread
Next time don't give up the home run. I'm not sure why a bat flip is considered improper when literally the entire dugout and bullpen are going to crowd around home plate to celebrate. Can you please explain why a bat flip on a game-winning bomb (and I mean BOMB) is worse than crowding around at home plate?

If there's one thing I've learned in my 35+ years on earth, it's that those two aren't mutually exclusive.

Serious question - when does the entire training staff get fired for these leg injuries?

White Sox vs Guardians GT 4/21/22
Then can you explain Sheets (basically zero OF experience) in the more difficult corner position (RF) and Haseley (good OF defender) in the "stash Eloy out there" position?

GT: Sox @ Guardians Game 2: Lambert vs. McKenzie
...yes... and he seems to demonstrate that he's continually forgetting more and more with each passing day.

GT: Sox @ Guardians Game 2: Lambert vs. McKenzie
A lot of people also forget that before the rash of injuries (including the season-ender to Bieber), Cleveland was supposed to be a contender last year. It seems like they're starting 2022 the way they were supposed to have been playing / producing in 2021.
