  1. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ May 2, 2005 -> 10:11 AM) when Kong is snatched by the Yanks. If he continues hitting at his current pace, I'm sure they'll be fine with Giambi and Tino.
  2. QUOTE(CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 2, 2005 -> 10:15 AM) Last night after talking about the Sox and Garland, Chris Berman started singing " Somewhere Over the Rainbow". He knew Judy was looming....
  3. Of course I made the hater list. Before this year, Garland hasn't thrown to his potential. What else was there to say about him? Now that he is, I have no problem saying he's doing a great job.
  4. Kinda early to be thinking about this, but I'd say we'll need another hitter before we need an arm.
  5. QUOTE(backman @ May 2, 2005 -> 07:32 AM) Did anyone hear Jason Williams after the game apparently he went off? But I missed it does anyone know what he said?
  6. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 1, 2005 -> 11:55 PM) Her skin looks like the color of an oompa loompa most times... and those freckles are indeed scary. Just out of curiousity, what site are you finding all of the video avatars on?
  7. Yea, you are lucky he didn't hit you. You would've been flat on your ass. And had you tried to charge the mound, Garland would've planted you. :fyou Rondell [end of rant]
  8. Hopefully Bull is back soon and if we get lucky, he'll update us right here. Get well soon Bull.
  9. He won't win 20, please write that down and save it.
  10. QUOTE(Cy Garland @ May 1, 2005 -> 10:52 PM) All he did was read his opening statement He said that he never used, which others refused to do and came out and said what he felt on the topic. He may have not answered questions from the so-called panel, his statement was good.
  11. I don't have a problem with the plan. In fact, I often wonder why its taken so long to take a hard line stance like this. Steroids have no place in the game and if you test positive three times, you should be banned for life. Kudos to Frank for speaking out on this. He did a great job at the steroid hearing as well.
  12. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ May 1, 2005 -> 10:42 PM) I sent you a PM about this... Responded. Hopefully you got it.
  13. I liked the photo just fine, but I agree, I'd rather see something besides that ump I can't stand for the next month. It pretty much reminds everyone of the lowlight of the Sox season to this point for the next month.
  14. I'm fine with Pedro Lopez until Pablo is ready to come back.
  15. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 1, 2005 -> 08:57 PM) 9,000 of those posts are just ''i'd hit it''. Awesome job. point made.
  16. Who gives a s*** about the Cubs? Not me. All of this Cubbie talk belongs in Around the Horn. Actually, it doesn't belong anywhere, I'm just in a forgiving mood.
  17. 23 consecutive scoreless innings is the longest streak by a Sox pitcher since Buehrle had 24 in 2001.
  18. First pitch has been moved back 10 minutes to 2:15.
  19. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 1, 2005 -> 03:04 PM) Wow, I hope everything is OK. Has there been any word on the statuses of Ozuna and Uribe? Rooney said Uribe is probably in need of another two days of rest and that he is not sure whether or not Ozuna is available. Dye still has flu-like symptoms, so really our only bench player at this point is AJP.
  20. Ozzie just said on the manager's show with John Rooney that Willie Harris is out today due to a personal problem and may miss a few days.
  21. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 1, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) Lineups in, not pretty: lf podsednik 2b iguchi dh everett 1b konerko cf rowand rf perez 3b crede c widger ss lopez What do you expect, Dye is sick, a lefty is pitching (absence of AJ) and Lopez can play SS better than Willie. Quite frankly, this is just about what I expected.
  22. Whether or not you know this or not, I do not know, so I'll go ahead and share. The type of device you are using is only designed for a 500 foot radius. As a person who sells networking devices as a part of my current occupation, I would consider checking out this product: http://www.netgear.com/products/details/WPN824.php Netgear's reputation isn't the best, but the reviews I've heard on this have been pretty stellar for the most part. For the Linksys, there is also this to expand the range: http://www.linksys.com/products/product.as...cid=38&prid=643
  23. If he continues this way up until Thomas's return, he will find himself as the 4th outfielder as Everett will take over in RF permanently.
