Bottom line is this, if the Sox were convinced Willie could do the job, they wouldn't be flirting with Iguchi.

I wouldn't read much into this fella's opinion. Probably a little educated writer who knows little, if nothing, about Buehrle. All of us here know his style and his capabilities. We're also all smart enough to know that his pitch selection has low impact on his arm. He throws very few pitches that I would consider to be potentially problematic to a pitcher. From what I've seen of Mark, he tends to keep in good shape and focusing on what he needs to accomplish. As long as he does that, pencil him in for 16+ wins on a yearly basis.

From the poker face KW gave at Soxfest, I figured we were close to something with Iguchi. Hopefully the Sox will be able to announce his signing in the coming days.

I went with AJ, I think he'll have a lot to do with how successful we'll be this season, especially against our division which he knows so well.

Nelson is done, stick a fork in him.
