It also made me Laugh Out Loud. This is a strictly mathematical viewpoint...it goes like this: What Makes 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those meetings where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in life? Here's a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions: If: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z is represented as: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26. Then: H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98% and K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E 11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96% But , A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100% And, B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T 2+21+12+12+19+8+9+20 = 103% AND, look how far ass kissing will take you. I often leave some of my doors unlocked unless I'm going to be gone overnight. I do have a dog and a couple registered handguns in the house, but it's a quiet suburban neighborhood with no history of break-ins or problems. There's also two cops who live on the street, and two more in the nighborhood, and everyone knows it. Probably not the smartest idea but my parents live in the same neighborhood and we've done it, as well as many friends of mine growing up, for years. Of course, if I lived elsewhere or had kids, I would take more precaution and probably have a home security system like a Brinks.

I'm not trying to dissuade you but it's a unique and very challenging field. It's hard because theres just a lot to know. When you get into statistics theres many different methods and types of tests and you need to know when and when not to use each one. Each one, of course, has it's own set of rules and formulas to follow. It's math, so it's direct. It is not heavily theory based but there is some there. A calculus base is pretty much a necessary foundation for some of the upper level classes. I'd say its more the shear volume of what you need to know and how it spans so far out is what makes it harder moreso than it being "extremely hard to grasp".

One of my majors in college was statistics. I took an actuary prep class in college and I've passed the second test. You need to be good in math, know your calculus, probability theory, econometrics, forecasting, statistical inference and testing methods etc...It's no joke. I never took the first exam because when I graduated I didnt think i'd pass it and I got a job doing marketing analysis and havent pursued the actuarial career any further at this time. I may do so in the future, but i'll have a lot of studying to do. If you arent really, really good at math and mathematical theory you probably shouldnt consider the actuarial field too seriously.

So UCONN beat West Virginia last night. That's 3 top 7 (at the time) teams they've knocked off in the past month. They've probably played themselves back into one of the final at-large berths at this time. If they'd have played like this all year they'd probably be firmly entrenched as a 3 or 4 seed. So frustrating this year has been. -

If Damon wants to play for the Sox at $6M he will. If he calls up Kenny and says he'll accept the deal KW won't tell him sorry no we already pulled it. If he takes Detroit's deal at $7M he would have taken theres anyways. This is all assuming these reported offers are correct. KW probably just got sick of Borass' antics said enough with it. If Damon really wants to play here and is willing to accept that offer he knows how to get a hold of KW.
