  1. Just got a great deal on StubHub for the Houston/Sox game on 8/16. Section 139, row 17, seats 7-8 for $81. Normally are $78 apiece. At least I’ll see a World Series contender live. The tickets were $47 before the game started. I waited and they went down $8. Niceee
  2. Yep. He’s under contract so as long as he keeps hitting, he can fuck off and be DH. Stop bringing the strippers to TLR’s office.
  3. Well Eloy can fuck off. He’s under contract and his injury history suggests he shouldn’t play in the field. They aren’t part of the problem but they have value, the other two do not.
  4. I always thought they should deal one of Jimenez, Vaughn or Sheets…and maybe Moncada. They needed to deal one of those guys to bring in some different talent if they aren’t going to sign anyone.
  5. How about this lineup? Anderson - SS Robert - CF Jimenez - DH Abreu - 1B Vaughn - LF Pollock - RF Zavala - C Harrison - 2B Moncada - 3B
  6. They got paid and their deals are guaranteed. Many don’t appear to give a shit about winning.
  7. If TLR didn’t have a new lineup every game, maybe they would be incrementally better. He can claim he is following the data to make different decisions but sometimes consistency is a good thing.
  8. If Grandal or Moncada could hit the way they have hit in any of the good years they have had, this team would be incrementally better. They might even hit more home runs.
  9. If the Sox make it to the playoffs, they will get into a hole like tonight and not come back while the other team adds on.
  10. If you get beyond the politics of this article, it brings up some good points about immigration. I wonder if more immigration to take some of the less than desired and also skilled labor would help some some of our economic issues and cut down inflation. It’s too bad that immigration is a wedge issue and not one that both parties want to solve since it would strengthen our economy. More immigration, less inflation
  11. Cueto pitches his heart out and they can’t play well for him. Stupid.
  12. The Vaughn fanboys won’t like that one. We tried that idea last offseason and too many people bitched. If this happens; I will gladly go out and protest at the ballpark with a sign.
  13. Ladies and gentlemen, that is why they need an actual right fielder and to move Vaughn to first.
  14. Good. Maybe mock them like so… ”Hey Yoan, maybe take it easy on the lap dances you get after the game from your music video and your $80+ million and try hitting the ball consistently!” ”Hey Grandal, we’re you always this bad when you weren’t on PEDs?” That’s all I have for now.
  15. I went for a run. Are we happy or are we mocking cheering? I’d be for mocking cheering. Mock Grandal and Moncada and cheer on the rest.
  16. AAA. Lead him off and tell him he needs to learn to hit again.
  17. That made my day, seeing someone have to get a vaccine or completely devalue himself by not being as available to his team like Irving in NY.
  18. I’d go so far to tell Yoan to develop in AAA for a month a la Schwarber and Happ.
  19. Is he playing hurt? Does his health matter going into next year if he’s going to play like Adam Dunn? All of them have pros and cons. The one that looks to be the best this year appears to be Eloy. Not sure why he is being played to be honest with you.
