  1. Lots of moves on the farm this week with presumably more to come soon. Most notably, Adrian Gil who has played well in AZ up to Kannapolis. And:
  2. 👀 (Cags will be fine and Colson won't stay on a 10 WAR pace, it's just funny considering their respective AAA numbers)
  3. Lol not only did every starter record a hit, but also every starter had at least one 100mph+ EV. What on earth did these guys do over the break?
  4. Rockies have caught up to 2024 Sox pace for the first time since May. Both teams went 6-26 to start, but the Rockies had been playing at a worse clip since then. A solid stretch this week, when last year's Sox were in the middle of a 21L, has caught them back up at a 27-76 record. Now they just need to match last year's 14-45 finish to avoid a new record.
  5. If only MLB had separate first and second half standings like the minors
  6. Win #38 came on 9/25 last season, two months from now
  7. Post ASB Sox combined with City Connect Friday Sox? Should've expected the W honestly.
  8. I'm pretty sure teams can process the context of Houser throwing a bad pitch late in a blowout. Sucks that it tips his ERA over 2, but he wasn't returning 2 ERA ace value anyway because teams look at more than box scores.
  9. Wolkow added a timely HR to force extras, Kanny won 8-7 F/10 LaCombe had a great affiliate debut:
  10. Nice little coaching moment with Jirsch there
  11. They have discovered the power of crooked numbers
  12. 12 hits allowed is a career high for Shota FYI
  13. If Houser gets an early hook, I'm going to assume the Cubs traded for him mid game.
  14. .409 xBA for the Sox vs. Shota, average exit velo 95.3 (100.2 vs. the 4seam)
  15. Acts like one too. I don't hate the Cubs outside of these series, but have seen so much of PCA peacocking around in the minors showing up umps, teammates, opponents, etc. that I'll never find him likeable.
