  1. Antonacci ties it on another HR, 1-1 Bergolla with a single and SB to follow Knights had been hitless through 3
  2. McDougal done after 4 IP, 1 ER, 2 H, 4 BB, 8 K. Also bounced a curveball that grazed a guy for a HBP. The first hit was a soft bloop single into CF in the third. Mesa Jr. worked an impressive 10 pitch walk that seemed to tire McDougal a bit. Single, WP, and a walk after that. 3 pitch K (all heat) and a routine fly ended the inning. Came back out for a 2K 4th. FB averaged 98 and touched 100 but was a bit wild. Slider looked good (80% whiff rate) but he only threw a handful. Knights down 1-0, Plymell should be on for the 5th.
  3. WAS 2025 sixth rounder. Spent some time in the corners previously. From BA:
  4. We like our catcher FROM Boston, but how do we feel about a catcher NAMED Boston?
  5. We've seen how those hamate injuries can nag, hopefully AV recovers okay. Jeferson Quero gets the call up though, which is fun for Brewers fans.
  6. Anyway, Lee cleared waivers and was outrighted to Charlotte.
  7. Seems the bat speed will be fine
  8. Bergolla very true to form with 0 whiffs on 11 swings. He put 3 fastballs in play and all went for hits. Finished 4-5 with 2 RBIs and 2 doubles. Sam went 2-5 with a BB, HR, and 2 RBI. I think he'll be fine in LF.
  9. Schultz faced the minimum over 4 innings. No hits, 5K, and 1 walk that was erased by a GIDP. Sat 97 and threw 6 pitches. Smith sat 96 and got a nasty 57% whiff rate on the fastball (8/14). Also 44% on the slider (4/9). 13 whiffs on 26 swings overall. Pretty, pretty good. Antonacci just cut down a guy at second from LF.
  10. Easy 1-2-3 for Schulz after the long wait, 2 nasty Ks
  11. And now Antonacci adds on with a HR, 11 runs in the inning Looks like they took notes from MIL yesterday, give up a leadoff homer and then just score forever. More HR than innings played lol Noah in the pen getting some tosses in to stay warm
  12. Schultz has been sitting for a looooooong time. Knights have sent 13 to the plate so far
  13. Available roster spots
  14. Gilbert has an option remaining
  15. Well it's not how you'd like to finish spring training, but I'm still looking forward to opening day on Saturday
  16. Will doesn't want opponents to be able to counter both Colson and Mune with the same LHP in an inning. He's willing to PH for Beni (good) but wants the youngins to get their reps vs. lefties (also good), so I'm not that bothered. Also lower pressure for Mune starting at 6th.
  17. Definitely an out with different positioning, but that's baseball
  18. Yeah, EQ is going to lead the league in overturns lol
