  1. Colson adds a 2 RBI triple. Hopefully he can show some signs of life before he gets dropped from the Top 100.
  2. Scored Chappy, who led off with a double.
  3. 106mph double to right for Colson in his first AB.
  4. Pito might not have a job to come back to...
  5. 6.2 IP 1ER 3H 1BB 6K for Nastrini. The run was on a solo shot in the first, he basically cruised for most of the start. Colas got pulled after getting caught snoozing off 1B. I guess he might have tweaked something trying to get back to the bag, but I lean towards an intentional benching for the lack of focus. Eder went 5IP 1ER 6H 2BB 6K. Three singles in the first to score the run. He mostly settled down after that, but did have some deeper counts (60/86 through 5).
  6. Excellent start for Schweitzer. 6IP, 4H, 1ER on a solo shot, 1BB, 9K. Dash won 9-4. Dominguez also looked good, 6IP, 2H, 0ER, 2BB, 5K. Didn't give up a hit until the 5th. Knights won 8-1. Gonzo finished 4-4 with a HR, 4RBI, a walk, and a steal for the hell of it. He's up to .298/.402/.452. Wonder if we'll see him, Baldwin, and Montgomery promoted around the same time, or if they'll start shifting the Bham infield around a bit.
  7. Gonzo just crushed one 400+
  8. Quero breaks things up with a solo shot. Nice to see some RH power too.
  9. Real pitcher's duel in the Bham game, both starters are through 3 perfect innings.
  10. 4 in BA's updated Top 100, including 3 top 50: 16. Colson Montgomery 30. Noah Schultz 45. Drew Thorpe 97. Edgar Quero
  11. 5 scoreless for Pallette, 7K and no (!!!) walks. Nice to see him getting settled in.
  12. Iriarte was cruising except for the 6th inning, his longest outing and some of the best control he's shown. Adler's AA debut was rough, seemed like he had some nerves. 1IP, 3H, 3R (2ER), 1BB, 0K. Two runs scored on a very wild pitch. Ramos picked him up with a HR to refortify the lead. He also had a double. Coffey's for closers sealed the 11-6 win. Well deserved first W for Iriarte.
  13. Well deserved promotion to AA for Eric Adler (though it sucks for WS to lose their closer). Schoenle promoted to AA as well.
  14. Since the White Sox outbid the Padres for the coveted services of Tommy Pham: White Sox: undefeated, averaging 7 runs/game Padres: winless, averaging 3.33 runs/game
  15. Since the White Sox outbid the Padres for the coveted services of Tommy Pham: White Sox: undefeated, averaging 8.5 runs/game Padres: winless, averaging 2.0 runs/game
  16. Schultz done after 4IP, 3H, 2ER, 4K, 0BB (1HB). Around 50 pitches seems like an early hook, but I guess they're more concerned with innings than pitches for now. The runs were on a wall scraper solo shot and a leadoff double that came around to score on a flyout and groundout.
  17. Mason Adams 2nd inning: strikeout, solo shot, solo shot, strikeout, solo shot, strikeout
  18. Schultz facing a very right handed lineup today. He goes flyout, single, 2Ks in the first. Dash up 2-0 after 1 as Zavala (single) and Gonzo (double) score on a pair of errors in the home half. Easy 6 pitch second for Schultz on three routine contact outs.
