I fully back Jermaine Dye. This guy is a stud hitter, and will carry this offense very shortly.

At this point I don't want to trade Brian Anderson. I really like his game, and think he could be an above average player. I also think Wagner is nearing the end of his career, and is very likely to breakdown.

I think a good test, would be to hear Donn Pall or Robin Ventura do a game with Hawk. I know this will most likely never happen... but I feel Hawk would be better for them and would actually pull information out of them. I am not a DJ hater like many around here are, but I do feel he doesn't do a very good job of "driving the car."

I would expect MLB Teams looking for a backup catcher to call Benito Santiago (who was just released by the Pirates) before calling our boy Burke.

You guys aren't seeing the whole field here. At this point... Walker is really the only move that makes sense. This doesn't mean he is better than Baj, this is just a move to fill a hole. Baj will get more use out of pitching every couple of days in AAA, rather than being the 5th righty out of the pen for the Sox. Walker will only pitch to one or two batters per game when he does pitch. Jaimie Burke is rotting away on the bench and will be better served back in AAA. Plus: With Walker coming up for a brief stint... It could put pressure on Neal Cotts to step it up. Lets hope so.

Brooks is doing an amazing job for the Sox. Count me in for anything that is Pro-Brooks.

FROM ROTOWORLD: Dodgers placed third baseman Jose Valentin on the 15-day disabled list with three torn ligaments in his right knee. He didn't tear the big one, but it looks like he'll be out until the All-Star break. The Dodgers currently have three options at third base in Norihiro Nakamura, Olmedo Saenz and Mike Edwards. Another one, Antonio Perez, figures to come off the DL in a couple of weeks. Expect Nakamura to get the majority of the time for now, mainly because he's the best defensive player in the group. It would be tempting to use Saenz since he's off to such a nice start, but he no longer has the mobility to be even a decent defender at the hot corner. May. 4 - 9:20 pm et

I wonder... If given the choice, Would Boers choose to work with Bernstein or McNeil.

The big one will be... If Mac goes, who goes with him. I GUARANTEE if he leaves, he will take Adam and Ben (his producers) with him. I am not sure about the contracts of Jurko and Harry. I could see Jurko with Mac, but Harry won't leave AM 1000. In the end, if Mac ends up at the Score, I see him with one or two totally new partners. I have a feeling we won't know anything until the middle of next week.

Does anyone know the latest on Dan McNeil's (from Mac, Jurko, and Harry) contract situation? For those of you who don't know, Mac's contract with AM 1000 expired at 7pm yesterday and he has become a free agent. While AM 1000 was having discussions with his agent, the Score is reportedly offering big money to bring McNeil back. Dan McNeil has established his show as the best show on Chicago Sports Radio, and in my opinion will continue his success no matter where he is at. I am just anxious to find out whats going to happen.

This happens in almost all baseball broadcasts. For one inning, or atleast half an inning in every game.... DJ takes over the play by play from Hawk, Farmer takes over for Rooney, Andy Mazur takes over for Pat Hughes on Cubs Radio (because Santo can't do a thing), etc. This is a normal occurence in baseball broadcasts. If you listen to the Sox radio broadcasts very much, alot of times after Rooney comes back from his break Farmer will ask him what he had to eat, etc.

Keep It Going Joe... Sooner or Later they will all be wearing Crede Jerseys.

Just got home from the game. I am so glad we won, and Carl and Joe had great games... but that has to be the most frustrating game I have ever attended. Contreras was absolutely painful to watch, and I felt sorry for him. He did try to battle, but man was he bad. 3 most important things I noticed: Podsednik is still favoring his groin. Dye has no confidence right now. Carl Everett can be the Leader of this team.

Does anyone know when the next roster update for MVP will be. I want my roster update!

Has anyone else notice Mike Hampton's first two starts of the season. He has been dominant. Hampton isn't a strikeout pitcher so it is even more impressive. I'd give him a look in your fantasy league if you are looking for a sleeper stud pitcher.
