Something else to consider is with Frank probably going to be on the DL for a couple of months, that opens up an extra spot which I think will go to Burke. The final roster spot most likely comes down to Diaz or Adkins (as a 7th pitcher), or Burke (as a Righty off the bench who can C, 3B, 1B, Corner OF). Which would you rather have as your 25th man?

The other options are dropping fast for both the Sox and Iguchi. What kind of money can Iguchi get if he stays in Japan? Could the Sox be getting used as a bargaining chip against other teams in Japan? I really don't see many teams left here in MLB that could be an option for him. Other than us and Boston, who else would attempt to get involved? St. Louis? Yankees? Who Else?

Is anyone else worried that he could be the next Tyoshi Shinjo or So Taguchi. Even Kaz Matsui has struggled.

I wouldn't mind taking a look at DeRosa. A guy who can play 2nd, 3rd, SS, and a Corner OF would be a nice addition.

I have been over posting on marlinsbaseball.com about the idea of them dealing Castillo if they sign Delgado... and the Marlins fans seem to think there is no way this will happen.

I can't stand how these "stories" come out after a player leaves the team. From Carlos and Maggs leaving here, to AJ leaving the Giants, and so on... why can't we just move on. Carlos gave us a lot of good time here, why do we have to bring up negatives to try and justify moving him.

Did anyone else happen to see (on Friday) the Hyatt Security guard selling 8x10's to people in the crowd. It was amazing... people were buying 8x10's from the guy for like 10 bucks a piece.

Just returned home from the fest... Crazy Carl looks to be in good shape. I heard him do an interview, and he said he was embarassed by his lack of contribution last year, and has vowed for that to change.
