No.

Apparently finishing in 4th place doesn't mean you had a bad year according to Jerry.

Accurate

Not sign Bryce Harper

this is high comedy

Have we reached Bernstein fun bad territory yet? All you can do is laugh to hide the pain.

lmfaooooooo

you don't remember Maikel Cleto? https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/cletoma01.shtml

fair enough.

Wasn't Pallette supposed to be high 90s? If he's topping at 94 idk if that's doable without impeccable command anymore.

Well I meant about the 2016-18 rebuild I'm not sure that there's one player that hasn't disappointed to some degree. A lot of these guys only had one great season, Cease included. (2022 for him) Probably the best guy overall has been Giolito as he had 3 above average seasons. I'm pretty much ready to punt on everyone else.

I know but he isn't long for starting as he has no quality secondary pitches as a starter. Maybe he can get the slider he had in 2021 back out of the pen.

For me, it's the two guys from the Sale deal. Moncada isn't a flat out bust, but he is a disappointment. Kopech being a reliever and injured all of the time is highly disappointing. 9.33 xfip.

Cease's fastball is down 1.4 mph from 2022 which would likely be a huge red flag for other teams. Idk if they're going to get as much as they would have this winter. I know he didn't start today, but just making a comment for the inevitable teardown.

Is this team less likeable than 2016? I'm not sure yet. At least Sale, Quintana, Eaton and Abreu had actual talent that translated at the MLB level.

This is probably the worst team since 2013 but it remains to be seen if they lose 100 games.

I think they need to completely turn over the 26 man roster ASAP, returns be damned.

DFA Clevinger's ass. I'd rather watch Davis Martin get lit up than that POS.

I could get behind this. Wait for Moncada and Eloy's contracts to expire, decline option. I think they might be able to salary dump Eloy for no return. There might be a team out there that thinks they can get him to hit the ball in the air.
