  1. Just to point out: Duhon averages 10.3 PPG per 48 min while the opposing PG averages (when Duhon is on the floor) 20.7 PPG per 48 min Now, that is probably a little skewed since the Bulls play a decent amount of zone, but he's clearly being out produced by opposing PGs. The rest of his and opponent production if your interested: http://www.82games.com/04CHI2C.HTM
  2. QUOTE(Butter Parque @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 06:29 PM) I haven't seen many Bulls games this year, how has Chris Duhon done? Is he almost as good as Ben Gordon? No, not even close. A 34% FG% is laughable, but he has shot better the last 10 games (40%). Duhon is a good back-up PG, why he's starting on a NBA team is anybody's guess.
  3. QUOTE(qwerty @ Feb 9, 2005 -> 11:49 PM) Why? He can clearly get more money in free agency. He can just as easily get injured, lose his stuff, etc. Nothing is a given, I'll take the guaranteed $40 million and look to score big next time around.
  4. They did step up with a pretty good offer, if i was him i'd take it.
  5. On mondays all tickets are half price, it doesn't matter what time you order them.
  6. They got a pretty good pitching prospect, he was rated really high in the Cubs system. So, yeah, they did benefit.

Already over 32 thousand tickets have been sold for tomorrows game and over 25 thousand for Sunday. Monday is a sellout for sure.
  8. I say start Rowand. He has better speed, range, arm, power and he even hits for a higher average (not to mention the OPS difference). Timo might hit RHP better, but i still say give at least 70% of the PT to Rowand.
  9. It looked like he was trying to do every thing by himself. He just ran out of gas, but he should settle down and pitch much better in future starts. I can't wait...
  10. There's a reason why our ERA is so high; our guys have stayed in games to take some beatings (which also explains the IP gap).

Maybe when i see him pitch...
  12. The Bulls will not trade Chandler AND a lotto pick for Harrington. DA is an idiot (think Gammons)...but if for some crazy reason Pax decides to do this; I'll throw a brick through his living room window.

Yes it was, and it's just as much Ozzie's fault as it it Munoz's.
  14. So far Crede is having himself a pretty nice June. In 39 AB's: .308 AVG, .413 OBP, .564 SLG, .977 OPS Not bad...
  15. If i had it my way Frank would be playing first and batting third everyday.
  16. We don't need anymore offense, pitching pitching pitching and if possible more pitching.
  17. Well, i don't see how it matters, he can be an All-Star DH. He won't be the starting first baseman anyway, so you can give him any title you please.

    04/26/1998 CHW 5 TOR 5 That's the day.

A one game playoff (think back to the Cubs in '98).
  20. Just to point something out: Jose has: 11 HR's (1st among SS in AL) .883 OPS (2rd among SS in AL) .390 SecA (1st among SS in AL) 23 XBH (3rd among SS in AL) I think he's worth more than Ortiz.
  21. At this point i think it would be much more beneficial to the team for Rowand or Gload to play everyday. Pick one and stick with him, Rowand has been a much more dangerous hitter (.315 secondary average). I think if given the chance Rowand could be a high OPS guy (.850 range). But i don't like this 3 man RF rotation Ozzie has going.
  22. People look at the bright side of this, with Mags ($14M), Koch ($6.5M) and Jose ($5M) coming of the books thats $26M for Kenny to spend this offseason. Plus, with the Sox's increase in attendance and the additional revenue that will come from the new sports channel that number could be as high as $40M. Assuming Jerry dosne't pocket it.
  23. Ginter was out of options, if he wasn't traded he'd be claimed of waviers. So he was gone either way.

I've seen Pedro play a few times and he's made me do this--> a couple times. Web gem type s***, kinda surprising to see so many errors.
  25. Small sample size, he's put up pretty damn good numbers (other than this season) and i'm not questioning is ability to hit the ball (as i said, i think he can hit .300), but i don't see him being a high OBP/OPS guy that would warrant the type of hype he's received.
