If Ron makes another post about that awful nickname for Antonacci, he will have succeeded.

This is a bit of reframing. There are posters who wish he would have been traded earlier and closer to his peak value. There is no gloating that he was ultimately traded away far too late and for no players of value, outside of the dump of his salary.

Caulfield, while you do have some interesting and off the wall posts sometimes, you don’t seem like a Dick to me.

He has been hit or miss. I believe he has botched two big plays since the infamous Sox game, but everything is being magnified more since he messed with blonde Sox lady. Both botch videos are probably posted in the PCA thread.

I was confused by that comment as well. I just posted videos of both of his throws home in the past two games in my previous post. They were both one-bounce throws from shallow right field — virtually identical throws. Both were definitely nice throws but I don’t think they are any indication that he has a strong arm.

Call me crazy but did I miss the strong arm display? There’s nothing she could have said that should have even elicited a response from him. Many fans are drunk and say stupid things. I believe the rumor is that she called him “PC-Triple A”, which is actually pretty witty and funny if true. But he’s supposed to be a professional player making millions. Ignore her. I just saw a Cubs fan nickname their starter tonight Jordan Wicks — “Jordan Sucks”. Simple and to the point, which I appreciate. Their rotation is also in shambles. They needed to sign Giolito and acquire one or two more starters. How in the hell were they outbid for Giolito by the Padres? $3 million plus incentives.

Not going to happen because the one that they chose to promote is currently terrible at the profession. The pool of female umpires is probably limited so that may be part of the problem.

This was just as bad watching live. I hope it was a total mistake pitch and not called by anyone.
