  1. Maybe in the final year. I can’t see Jerry approving eating this much money… 2026: $16.5M 2027: $14.5M
  2. Benintendi was a Hahn signing so Getz is off the hook for that one. I was just laughing that you literally had to post “Keep Benintendi” as if the Sox have any choice in the matter. Once again, no one wants him but you. 🤣
  3. Yeah, you don’t have to worry about Benintendi going anywhere. No one wants him but you.
  4. One good fluky season surrounded by bad with only 4 years left of control. The control is probably even the bigger issue with him, rather than acquiring a player with 6 full years of control for this team.
  5. But we need to add Thor to the rotation to bring the ladies to The Rate.
  6. Did you not read the most recent posts? Your ESPN quote may be inaccurate regarding his average fastball velocity. Other scouting reports are saying his fastball velocity is higher than 90 on average.
  7. I don’t know. Locklear and a couple pitchers wouldn’t be an awful return for Robert. A #9 ranked prospect in a very strong farm system. He has really turned it on this year with the bat. Negatives are that’s he isn’t a lefty bat and he’s already turning 25 in November but the Sox could sure use a 1B with power. Locklear also has one more year of control than Vientos — FA in 2031 rather than 2030. He would more than likely be starting at 1B for the Sox immediately.
  8. If his fastball averages under 90, I can see why the Yankees had no problem dealing him for Slater. But this is from MLB Pipeline. The slider and changeup are a match in both reports but what’s up with the fastball velocity difference? https://www.mlb.com/milb/prospects/whitesox/gage-ziehl-695721
  9. I didn’t think the Cubs would go after him. Small sample size but Matt Shaw has over a 1.000 OPS post All-Star break. I think they are sticking with him. Maybe they acquire a lesser bat as insurance.
  10. Robert apparently wants to be traded.
  11. That should bring him back over .700.
  12. Would be funny to see a hug watch soon with Robert.
  13. Abel just went to the Twins with Tait for Duran.
  14. This will be the return we should’ve received for Robert if he didn’t turn into 💩.
  15. Don’t worry about what Bartolo’s bunghole is saying. He’s the fakest insider of all time.
  16. Okay now pinch run for him. This dude pulls things jogging to first base.
  17. Instead, they started the truly injury-prone guy and he already had to make an awkward catch in CF in the first inning on wet grass.
  18. The juice still wouldn’t be worth the squeeze.
  19. I still can’t believe the story is real. 🤣
  20. Venable not changing the lineup and Getz also not telling Venable to change the lineup considering the conditions is absolute clown shoes management from both of them.
