  1. Nice tackling, Sewell.
  2. That was awful. You have two TE’s and you throw a guess fade to a WR that was locked up the entire time.
  3. Nashon Wright can’t cover anyone but at least he can pick up a loose ball.
  4. St. Charles North won so it will be them. I don’t really know anything about them but MaxPreps has them ranked 33rd in Illinois. I would love to see BR face Rita in a state championship. They are not as good this year as they usually are and just eked out their two playoff wins so far. BR beat them 24-10 earlier this season.
  5. The life of a Sox fan — having to hear offseason news about which cheap veteran scrubs your team is interested in.
  6. That happened only in your own delusional mind, not real life.
  7. Yep. Watching Carmel Catholic at St. Charles North right now. The winner plays Brother Rice next week.
  8. 32-0 Brother Rice over Jacobs at halftime.
  9. Will be 33 to start the season. I think I’d rather claim Seymour.
  10. Getz will be saying the same thing next offseason as well.
  11. Remember that roids, coke, and amphetamines were big in baseball back in that era. That kept those 30+ year old players motoring.
  12. At least it’s not his arm/shoulder.
  13. Sexcellent. Would be worth it just for the cheering section with signs.
  14. Totally dude. He doesn’t look bad at all, but he’s still only 37. I don’t think I had any gray in my beard at 37. All that partying and dirty whores are catching up with the dude. But I’ll be honest — his Twitter is truly funny as f***.
  15. Definitely, but $11 million for a closer for the Rays is a large chunk of their payroll — like 14% of it going by their 2025 opening day payroll. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they “manufacture” a cheap new closer next season out of thin air. Ironically but related, they just claimed backup RF Jake Fraley from the Braves who is due an estimated $3.6 million via salary arbitration, which was one of the reasons they DFA’ed Misner and Seymour. Won’t pay $11 million for a pretty damn good closer but will pay $3.6 million for a backup corner outfielder. Can’t spend a dollar if you only have fifty cents, I guess. Sounds familiar.
  16. Yep, I do remember that. Good minor league numbers for both of them, but especially Seymour. I really wouldn’t be surprised if Getz claims one or both of these guys, both being “relatively” young at 27.
  17. And yet another fucked up story. He should’ve just stuck to trolling on Twitter…
  18. This story gets way worse if you read what happened — make sure to read the entire article to the end. Brutal… https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/cowboys-marshawn-kneeland-texted-goodbye-180029926.html
  19. How soon until Getz claims one or both of these guys? “Rays designated OF Kameron Misner and 1B Bob Seymour for assignment.“
  20. Well, I think we know the answer to the question regarding a bad organization — see Kenny, Hahn, and Getz. 🤣
  21. At this point, Getz is no different than us fans. You know he is basically just crossing his fingers, hoping Robert can stay healthy, and has a productive Spring Training and/or first half. There is no one left in the cupboard to trade for any prospects of note.
  22. Hopefully that happens and they can salvage some value from him.
  23. Yeah, but those slumps happen for a reason — there isn’t a slider away that he won’t swing at.
