  1. Let’s be honest, Getz is throwing s%*# at the wall already two weeks into the season. That’s how bad Getz built this roster. Your starting rotation should not need to be dissected two weeks into the season. That’s called failure.
  2. Sad that the motto has to be, “try to stay alive.” Morbid as f***. Meanwhile, JR is going to live to 100.
  3. It’s actually progress to Getz, compared to his previous seasons. 🤣
  4. Yep, it’s going to get much worse…
  5. This is a bit ridiculous. When your stats are disgusting to begin with, how much better can they get the next season? Regardless, Getz has the top pick and if he doesn’t get the best player in the next draft, he will have failed.
  6. The time was earlier, as in 2023, when Getz knew of his own plans to start another rebuild. Instead, he waited and got back a utility infielder than can’t hit as the return.
  7. Sox continue their streak of giving up first time records to opposing pitchers... Bubic records a career-high 11 strikeouts, leads Royals to a 2-0 win over White Sox
  8. I agree with you. But let’s be honest, the Sox managed him the exact opposite way that the Mets did. Just jog the bases slowly after contact… Just swing with one arm… Meanwhile, the Mets babied him in ST. They didn’t overplay him in less important ST games and allowed him to be 100% healthy for the season. Robert could very well get injured again, but the Mets have done a good job to minimize that risk so far.
  9. Please do. @WBWSF just needs to beat out a monkey throwing darts.
  10. The truly sad thing is that this division is pathetic. An owner that wasn’t trying to take his life earnings to the grave and a GM with half a brain could have taken this division easy this season.
  11. You loved that bottom of the order. Acuna is a bust unfortunately, and Getz still can’t scout hitting talent.
  12. Yep, I do remember it now. Probably was both years because they kept putting up shutouts. This lineup isn’t great but I don’t think they will be able to achieve the levels of corpseball that those lineups did.
  13. Funny how the roles have reversed and now the pitching looks good compared to the offense.
  14. Wrong cartoon, but this is pretty good as well.
  15. After his best season in 2023, we ended up trading Robert for a utility player that can’t hit. Trading Alex Rios for Leury Garcia looks like a heist compared to this trade.
  16. Mike Massey, Brother Rice alumnus.
  17. I did give them credit in my previous post. Just seems like a high number of hard lineouts, especially when Kay is pitching.
  18. Have Sox pitchers gotten extremely lucky with BABIP, or does it just seem that way?
  19. Offense is sucking but this is some of the best pitching they have had, so can’t complain there.
  20. This definitely appears to be the case unfortunately. Hopefully he will figure out how to adjust.
  21. .470 OPS. He swings a wet newspaper.
  22. Acuna can’t hit. Getz can’t scout.
  23. Was going to say the same thing. Ugly bottom of the order. We’ve been used to this over the years but this time it is mostly due to injuries.
