I’m thinking Vasil will try to cure Acuna’s slump tonight with his wand. However, Acuna will continue to have bad at bats, resulting in Acuna grabbing Vasil’s wand in the dugout and snapping it right in his face. This will cause a rift in the clubhouse and a long losing streak.

I realize these guys are injury-prone, but it sure seems like Hays wasn’t completely healthy when they brought him back, similar to when Tauchman was brought back too early last season and looked like he could barely run the bases, and then reinjured himself.

He is the Angels 18th ranked prospect and he’s only 22 years old. If he is currently pitching well for them, why would they now turn around and trade him for “a couple 2nd tier prospects” that may not even be as good as him? Also, do other teams even think that Jacob Gonzalez is the real deal yet? He has been a horrible hitter in the minors for three years until his 200 or so plate appearances this year.
