  1. The Bart trade wasn’t bad either. He just unfortunately got injured after 4 games. However, the two big trades were horrific.
  2. Yes, and you called it before the trade deadline that Getz needed to acquire two starters. I didn’t think he would get two because he didn’t want to pay the cost. But that’s what makes the Doyle trade look even dumber. Not only did he trade away prospects for a position of not much need (CF), he traded away a starter option and didn’t get a starting pitcher back.
  3. You probably could have stopped there. 🤣
  4. Ron posted it here. I remember reading the thread. As you can see, your tweet has since disappeared from Ron’s post and the very next post by ChiSox59 that quoted Ron’s initial post of your tweet. ChiSox59 even references your name and what you said in the tweet. Your tweet was about how Sox fans were basically stupid to question the deadline trades because they had likely never even seen Mason Adams or Boston Smith play in the minors, so apparently they weren’t qualified to critique the trades.
  5. Not since last night. Day-to-day with left shoulder and rib contusion.
  6. Big BAAADDD Bobby Danks being ruthless as usual. 🤣
  7. If you praise someone for their accomplishments, you also need to critique them for their failures. The guy literally had one of the worst trade deadlines of all time. He would have been better off not even making a single trade and the team would be better right now. Not sure how this can just be ignored. Also not sure what 2005 has to do with this discussion either. I looked for your past tweet about how stupid some Sox fans were to question the Castillo trade but apparently you deleted that tweet. Ron even had a thread about it.
  8. Sounds like a fun Saturday…
  9. Spoken like a true Sox fan.
  10. That’s cold, but probably true, even though he was a Sox fan growing up in Homewood, IL.
  11. Dude, there’s two teams in the division that are barely above .500. The division is pathetic.
  12. Even more reason that the Sox have no excuse to either win their shitty division or earn an easy Wild Card entrance.
  13. Expectations increase when your team plays better than expected and is in a putrid division of terrible teams.
  14. i can’t imagine Peters’ injuries just being just day to day. Watch his collision with the wall again. That was rough. Now think about swinging a bat after that.
  15. We aren’t Detroit fans so who cares?
  16. Agreed. If he gets credit for acquiring players like Vargas and Peters and the team doing better than expected this season, he should also have to eat s%*# for one of the worst trade deadlines in MLB history. And no, it’s not too early to judge those deadline trades. His acquisitions haven’t done jack squat for this season, which is the exact purpose of deadline trades. They have made the team worse.
  17. I’m not so sure. Some poster said that the Sox historically choke in September, while the Guardians actually play better when they are down and out and take the division. He got s%*# on for that post, but it doesn’t seem so crazy now…
  18. Have the Sox really lost 13 of their last 19 games? That’s what Chuckie just said…
  19. You sure you guys get a full refund on these? 🤣
  20. The deadline was an epic meltdown. The team literally would have been better without any moves.
  21. Cue the Ozzie choke gif…
  22. Peters is day to day but there’s not much time left. Gonna be fun watching Doyle hit against righties. 🤟🏻
  23. I’d like to see a review of the worst trade deadlines in MLB history, because Getzie’s has to up there.
  24. The Getzpologists will always say that no one expected the team to even be this good, but not address that once they played better than expected, Getz literally s%*# the bed at the trade deadline and made the team worse.
