  1. Forget the Dodgers then… it’s still pathetic. The Sox are in great company.
  2. JR hasn’t approved signing a single player for $100 million and here is another team donating that kind of money. To quote SoxFest attendees from last Saturday — “SELL THE TEAM! SELL THE TEAM!”
  3. No worries — any projectiles or weapons would have mysteriously disappeared before the event ended anyways.
  4. Well, if you go by year after year history, you would be proving the naysayers right.
  5. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6094615/2025/01/28/austin-hays-contract-reds-mlb-free-agency/
  6. I don’t believe it ever got that far to a court case.
  7. Currently around 40%. What he does with it will likely decide his future.
  8. I remember seeing their disclaimer on an article. Why they wouldn’t simply match up with MLB rules makes zero sense.
  9. Guilty, not guilty, innocent, falsely accused… Taylor damn sure isn’t a lawyer by trade because it’s pretty obvious he doesn’t know the definition of any of these words. Yes, while it’s possible that the female who accused Clevinger was lying, Clevinger was never “proven” to be “falsely accused”, and damn sure not by an “MLB investigation”. 🤣
  10. Agreed, I was just surprised it was true.
  11. Apparently this is legit…
  12. I was waiting for my therapy session with my kids when I read this and spit out my coffee.
  13. Freaking Cubs trolls.
  14. He probably wants to be traded at this point after two outfielder signings this offseason.
  15. We’ve already covered the second part of your post regarding the potential Twins/Fedde/Keaschall trade. I provided two sources that said it was on the table. You simply made up your own hypothesis on what happened because you have to defend Getz to the bitter end and justify the Vargas acquisition. Regarding the first part of your post… “COLUMN: The Chicago White Sox are the laughing stock of baseball“ Also, when your fans are chanting “SELL THE TEAM” to the owner live at their own fan fest, call me fucking crazy but your team may be a “laughingstock”. 🤣 You can have your opinion, but it is definitely in the minority.
  16. Once again, read my post. I didn’t defend anyone.
  17. It definitely has meaning and it is in the dictionary. One guy’s weird opinion doesn’t make it not have meaning. ”Laughingstock of the league” It’s definitely a thing and the Sox are now the poster child for it.
  18. Aren’t you the same guy who defended the Sox signing of Clevinger twice? WestEddy should give you another heart for that.
  19. I believe you meant 2027. 2007 already sucked so hopefully we don’t have to relive that season again. 🤣
  20. Don’t forget about all the effort in trying to justify every move Getz makes no matter how questionable.
  21. The thought of catching a Sox T-shirt from a veteran stud ballplayer like Mike Tauchman and potentially getting it signed by him later would send shivers down my spine.
  22. Amazing, isn’t it? The very reason Sox fans have endured suckfest after suckfest teams.
